Mountain View Tire & Auto Service

I recently noticed that my car was due for a tire rotation which I would normally get done every 2 oil changes however since I am driving an electric car I tend to forget about this simple but important detail. Anyways I called up a few places to get a quick estimate and time it would take for a rotation. The person at Mountain View Tire said they could quickly take care of me if I could drop by immediately. I drove out to the establishment and was there in 5 min. They were able to take my car in immediately and within no time the tires were rotated. Over all it was a good experience. The waiting room is air conditioned and clean. The staff were kind and courteous.

This is going to sound dramatic, but this is just how I write. I literally do NOT stress about tires on any of our personal or business vehicles EVER because of this place. The nicest staff, most caring customer interactions, and they ALWAYS figure out my craziness. Long story short, I have a bunch of weird vehicles with tires - one of them being for our Horse Trailer Bar. I called them literally last minute, because something happened to one of the tires on site at an event. They QUICKLY found the exact whitewall tire, had me pull into the shop, right there, replaced the tire, and even cleaned the white wall (they come BLUE) so it was fully ready for the event that very next day. Still not convinced? Here's another - I have a 69 Mustang. I needed them to replace my tire valves because they just got too old sitting around in our garage. They also did this within a few mins, and even had the care to line up the text on the tires with the "GT" on the hubcaps so I don't look like a dork. This place has our business forevaah. Efficient service and a helpful team of people behind it. Mountain View gained a loyal customer today. We ended up with a flat tire on the way to Palmdale, and they were the the nearest auto-shop nearby. The gentleman there gave us a great price for two replacement tires, rotation, and warranty. He didn't throw any other bargains or sales pitch at us that didn't have anything to do with the main issue like other auto shops usually do. Definitely will recommend friends and family should they find themselves in need of Auto-Repair. Only fair and understandable complaint I have would be for the (male) mechanic to not slam the doors or trunk so hard that the sound echoes throughout the entire parking lot. It's still someone's property after all. But I wont hold it against the store. Just a fair bit of "customer service" advice.

We had an emergency while on the road and providentially ended up at Mountain View Tire. They diagnosed and made a brake repair in a timely and pleasantly affordable manner, and made low pressure recommendations for additional needed repairs. We were very blessed!

I brought my pick up truck in due to a squeaking noise from the rear. Wasn’t sure what it was but figured it had to be related to the suspension. Was quoted $130 for an inspection to determine the issue. Was told that the driver side mounting bracket for the air bags had been disconnected and bent out of shape. The technician also mentioned there was some bolts and nuts missing from the bracket that were required to secure it. I was quoted $378 to have the repairs made (this included the $130 for inspection) and provide the missing hardware. After a few hours I picked up the vehicle and the following day I noticed the noise was not as loud but it was still there. I inspected the repair that was made and determined that the bracket had not been mounted properly since it was out of alignment and there was a bolt missing. I was quite frustrated and called the shop to let them know what I had found but had to leave a voicemail. It’s been 3 days and no one has bothered contacting me. I went ahead and fixed it myself. It’s pretty ridiculous paying $248 for probably 1.5 hour(s) of labor and the work not being done properly. This shop obviously has no quality control and I would not recommend you bring in your vehicle for anything more complicated than an oil change.
