This mechanic is totally a scammer who only wants your money and won’t be responsible for any issue coming later although he said he would when he asking you to pay (and requesting cash only). I went to repair my front and back windshield nozzle spray and he told me total will be $280. Then when I picking up my car he asked me to pay $380, and said he couldn’t fix the back one… The front nozzle only sprays half way with little little sad water… so basically he’s asking for $380 for this HALF of HALF work done… I was really upset to pay for it, but he said I could pay $350 and he would make sure he help me fix any issues coming after for my windshield spray. As a girl I barely know about car repair stuff and went by myself. I trusted his words and paid. Very few months later, the only front spray doesn’t work again. I came to him to ask for follow-up fix. This time he told me it’s a different issue and charged for additional fee. I tried to argue with him it’s unfair that he didn’t get his work done at the first time and even asking for additional charge for the issue coming again. Then he literally refused to talk to me and wanted me to leave. WOW. I’m so shocked. Totally feeling like got scammed also wasted my weekday time. Blacklist forever.

A nice shop located at the 76 Gas Station on Garfield Ave right off the south of 10 freeway. The owner does all the work himself, and he's very efficient and knowledgeable at his work. I heard he's been doing this for about 10 years and has a really good reputation with the locals. I always come here for an oil change since it's usually really fast and the price is reasonable. Sometimes, it gets busy if there are other people waiting since they don't have other staff. It might get crowded since it's on a busy intersection. But you can usually find a parking pretty fast.

I went for the $17.95 oil change but when I called, he said it was $25 because of the type of my car (old Toyota) but when I got there, I pointed out that they still had the sign saying it was $17.95. He insisted that my type of car made it $25, so I agreed to pay that. They were going to fix something called a "rack and rim boot" for $95 but I changed my mind after my friend said I might be getting ripped off again. Edit: I went to another mechanic to check out the steering rack tear and he said that if I'm not having issues with my steering wheel, I don't need to fix it. Stay away from this shady mechanic!!
