$55 total for smog + certificate (1996 and newer). $65 total for 1976–1995. Cheapest I found after calling around. A & B Test Only Center in Monterey Park is no-frills and no-nonsense. Blake, the owner and operator, runs the place and gets straight to work. I walked right in, no appointment needed, and he took care of everything immediately. The location is very easy to find. You can pull right in, and if there’s anyone waiting, there’s easy street parking. He’s fast! The whole process takes under 15 minutes. When I came in, there was no wait at all. No upselling, no small talk, no BS. Just honest business done right. Highly recommend.

Great service and owner is friendly. They only do smog checks here & are so fast. It only took 15 minutes and they send the info to the dmv for you😊 $55 for cars year 2000 & up. $65 for cars older than year 2000. They are open on Saturdays. Owner was great & told me about a collapsed valve/hose in my engine that I had no idea about.

My car needed a smog test and A&B helped me do the smog. The service was quick and easy. As long as your car doesn't have any problems from the get go. I was there for maybe 20 minutes because he had a couple cars in line but no big deal. The price is usually listed by the window and its the cheapest in the area that I found. Great place for the pesky smog test.
