Of the many local tire shops in our area (with many located on Sherman Way) “Smoking Tires“ is a gem and oasis when the "Shoes" of one's car need attention. They are located on the North side of Sherman Way, East of Ethel Ave, and are directly across the street from Kruah Thai Restaurant. They repair punctures causing tire leaks for $25, and place a durable patch upon the inner surface area, excluding the sidewalls. This gives a still valuable tire many more miles of life left to perform. Both gentlemen working are extremely welcoming, and because they are efficient two cars occupying the bays were finished and ready to go when I arrived, and they were able to immediately check and confirm I had a nail lodged in the rubber my new rear Toyo. The repair was done before I even considered sitting down in their waiting area! Their work and office areas are immaculate. I had $20 cash I'd meant to use for gas, but used my ATM instead so when I asked if I could pay the additional five dollars using my card I was kindly told my 20 dollars would be fine & accepted as payment in full! I am so pleased to have found a professional tire shop that is a cut above the rest (they sell new and quality used tires) and their caring way of doing business is what shall bring me back and why I recommend them to anyone needing this important service!

Tires got slashed overnight on a car we were working on which needed hard to find specific tires, they were the only place in all of LA that had them. And for a great price! They balanced and mounted the tires and they went out of their way to help serve us. Would highly recommend. Good people! Great service! Great job!

April 29, 2024, @ 1:120pm, Hector helped me out with 4 almost new Michellin tires. Balanced and installed for a very reasonable price at $200, store next door and two doors down was charging extra $40 for balanced and installation. Again look for Hector and his bodyguard for great service and deals, thank you Hector! 😁
