The most skilled and trustworthy mechanics!!! Truly lucky to have been led their way. The first mechanic I went to on the west side diagnosed my Tacoma truck with a blown head gasket and was charging me $6k for the repair. I then made about 30 phone calls to shops around town and Lextech came highly recommended, were clear and direct in their communication, and offered the most reasonable price for the job. When I brought my truck in and Lextech diagnosed it they found the head gasket to be full intact. I showed them the proof the first shop shared with me and Lextech could see it was a total lie! They got my truck back up and running with a simple ignition could replacement for under $300. Thanks for Lextech I was saved from pouring $6k down the drain. My truck still needs some major work done in other areas and Lextech is the only place I’ll trust on the job.

Friendly, honest, reliable, responsive, knowledgeable. Wouldn't trust just any shop with my FJ62, but I definitely trust LexTech. Shout out Aldo and Paul! They've replaced power steering, coolant hoses, and done some steering work for me along with an AC conversion and recharge. Good people, good shop.

Great service and quick turnaround. My ‘97 4Runner is starting to show its age, and I wanted to visit a garage that was familiar with older Toyotas. Aldo and the team were able to provide a complete inspection, fluid and brake pad change and list of recommendations quickly, and without pressure to complete everything at once. I’ll be back for sure.

When you move to a new area, there are three things you absolutely need to lock in: a good mechanic, a good handyman, and a good doctor. I lost my mechanic when I moved, so the hunt began. Found Lex Tech Automotive on Google with solid reviews and decided to give them a shot. Glad I did. I called ahead and spoke with Aldo, who runs the place with his partner Milk. Both great guys. Straightforward, professional, and easy to talk to. I brought my Lexus in for a basic oil change and inspection, and they handled everything exactly how you’d want. Price was very fair. Just under $100 for an oil change plus a full checkup. Other places I called were quoting $130 to $150 for the same thing. They checked everything—tires, brakes, fluids, the whole deal—and even used the same oil my old mechanic used, which I appreciated. The shop itself is on the smaller side and parking is a little tight, but they manage it well. You pull up, they take care of you, and if needed, they’ll have you park nearby. No drama. The area is one of those real LA spots—not fancy, not rough, just practical. They told me it would take about an hour and pointed me to a few nearby places to wait. There’s a small Mexican restaurant across the street, and if you want coffee or something quick like a bagel or McDonald’s, it’s just a short walk down the street. That’s where you’ll hit the train crossing, so you might have to wait a minute or two if a train passes, but it’s no big deal. I grabbed a coffee, and before I even finished it, they were done. About 30 minutes total when they quoted me an hour. That’s efficiency. Overall, these guys are honest, fair, and know what they’re doing. Good pricing, good service, no nonsense. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend.
