I took my 1970 Chevelle in for a carb adjustment. They said it needed a new carb, break booster and master cylinder and quoted me $1,700. When I went to pick my car up they said I owed $2,800 because of extra work they did. I trusted them, left them $100 deposit for a new gas gauge they said was broken and drove off. A few days go by and I noticed the master cylinder they installed was used and leaking everywhere as well as the carburetor not working properly. Took it back in for the gas gauge replacement, new master cylinder and replace the defective carburetor. They called a week later saying my car was ready to be picked up. Was only supposed to pay the balance on the gas gauge repair of $150. They said I owed $1,800 because they had to remove the dash to run new wire to the gas tank, drop the gas tank, replace the fuel floater, 2 days storage fee (when I immediately went to pick it up when they called and said it was ready) and didn't even use the new gas gauge I paid for but used the original one instead. I told them it was supposed to only cost me $250 total and I never authorized any of that work and to remove the stuff they put on my . They told me they wouldn't do that and I had to pay them if I wanted my car back. I called the police and they said it was a civil matter and negotiated with the owner to release my car for $1,100. I also asked for the old fule floater they replaced and they said a metal guy took it after hours. After I was forced to pay, I noticed on my drive home that my speedometer, tachometer, blinkers, radio, light in steering column and light on gas gauge all were not working and the car idled terrible. They wrote on the new invoice they created that there was no warranty at all, even on the work I never authorized them to do in the first place. Finally searched them on Google and notice they had a 3.4 star review with multiple complaints of the same situation I just went through. I had to dispute the charges with my C/C and now I have a claim with the Bureau of Automotive Repair and plan to take them to court once I'm finished getting repair estimates on the damage they did to my vehicle. I've never experienced anything like this before. This is bad, even for Downtown LA standards...

I would give it 0 stars if I could. They left my windows open and allowed an animal to spray in my car. When I got my car back it STINKED really badly. They did not want to help me at all after paying over $500 to them and giving them more business before they gave me back my car stink. They were very nasty and dismissive. They should NOT still be in business.

I bought a used car from them. The owner Eswin is untrustworthy. When I bought the car they said they need to fix the a/c but didn't have the part. They said I had to take the car and take it back a week later. I took it back exactly a week later they supposedly fixed everything wrong with it. We picked it up and the car overheated with in the first 2 hrs of driving it. I had it towed Monday. I asked for a refund. They said they couldn't. I told him I didn't feel safe and rather not have a car they knowingly sold with major issues. He told me had to pick up the car. We picked up the car and he wanted to charge me and extra $300. Please be careful!!! They lie and can careless if the care lasts more than 2 hrs.
