My husband went in today 03/03/26 a little after 8am just to get the tires on my Jeep Wrangler rotated and rebalanced (nothing else was discussed, only the tire rotation) after waiting about an hour or so for the work to be done. Once he was getting ready to checkout and leave they informed him the total was way more than we had expected and that was because the did an unapproved oil change! My vehicle did not need an oil change and was not there for an oil change. A oil change was never discussed! They then had the OUTRAGEOUS NERVE to charge me for the unauthorized and unapproved oil change they did not my vehicle! I WILL NEVER RETURN OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Bad business that charge for work done that is not approved by the vehicle owners!

Great quick service. My tire light went on and they checked it right away and didn't charge for just a tire fill up. I've been coming here for years and the stuff is always friendly very professional even when I moved a little farther away I still drive over here
View on GoogleExtremely disappointed with the service at this shop. I came in with an issue, and they told me to come back the next day at 9:00 AM. When I arrived, they claimed they were too busy and asked me to return the following day at 8:00 AM, promising that I would be their first priority and that they would resolve the issue. I arrived at 8:00 AM sharp as instructed, only to be told once again that they couldn't help me because they were too busy. This is completely unacceptable. You set the appointment times and give your word, yet you repeatedly turn customers away. It shows a complete lack of respect for my time. If you cannot manage your schedule, you shouldn't be accepting appointments. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
View on GoogleLast year, I visited this shop twice for flat/puncture repairs. Both visits were quick and satisfactory, which built my trust and is why I returned. On the night of Nov 14, during heavy rain in Van Nuys, both passenger-side tires blew out at the same time. It was stressful and unsafe. The following day (Nov 15), I returned to Fareway and purchased two Toyo tires (195/50R19), paying a total of $540.00. I also paid approximately $50 for mobile installation, bringing my total out-of-pocket cost to about $590. At the time of purchase, Mr. Rene was not present. Another employee handled the sale and told me the tires had a one-year / 45,000-mile warranty. About three months later (Feb 15), after roughly 3,000–4,000 miles, one of the rear tires developed a visible sidewall bubble, which is a serious safety concern. When I first returned to the shop, the owner was not there. An employee looked at the tire and told me it was caused by alignment, not the tire. I explained that I disagreed. About a month earlier I had visited a Toyota dealership, where everything was checked and no alignment was needed. I also rotate my tires on time (every 5,000 miles). The employee took photos of the tire and my invoice and told me to call back in a few days to speak with the owner. Two days later, I called and spoke with Mr. Rene. I asked how late the shop would be open, and he told me until 6 PM. I went in person and showed him the tire. After looking at it, he told me it did not appear to be an alignment issue and that his employee was mistaken. He also said there may have been miscommunication due to limited English, including about the warranty. He showed me that this Toyo tire does not include road hazard insurance coverage. In front of me, Mr. Rene called Toyo. Toyo advised that the tire could be sent for inspection and, if it was determined to be a manufacturing defect, reimbursement would be issued. Mr. Rene then proposed a solution: he would order a lower-cost tire (around $180), give me a discount, install it, and send my defective Toyo tire for inspection. If the warranty claim was approved, the reimbursement would be returned to me. I agreed because this sounded fair and reasonable. However, after a few days, when I followed up, the plan changed. I was told only a Michelin tire (around $300) was available. When I reminded him about the previously discussed $180 option, I was told it was not available in the warehouse. I asked whether it could be ordered for the following week, and I was told it could not. After spending about $590 only three months earlier, it is difficult to justify paying an additional $300 for what appears to be an early tire issue. To compare options, on Feb 20 I visited Toyota of Granada Hills. I was quoted about $270 per tire (including installation) with a written two-year warranty that covers road hazards, punctures, sidewall bubbles, nail damage, and related issues. I was not seeking a refund. I expected reasonable communication and cooperation to resolve a safety-related issue. Honoring the original plan or offering a fair goodwill adjustment would have demonstrated commitment to customer service. Instead, the situation ended without a mutually agreeable resolution. For future customers: ask detailed questions and make sure warranty coverage is clear and documented in writing when purchasing safety-critical items like tires. Sometimes paying slightly more at an authorized dealership provides clearer coverage and peace of mind.
