If could give six stars I would. Thank goodness I found John and European Auto Service. I had taken my 2014 pristine Aston Martin DB9 to another shop for an oil change. They couldn't clear the service light, and less than a month later another service light appeared regarding the emissions system. Rather than take it to a shop that couldn't handle my rare car I did a ChatGPT search and the AI recommended European and I gave them a call. Expert service, they diagnosed and fixed all the problems including a ticking time bomb of a leak at the oil filter. I'm grateful for the professional treatment from all the staff especially John and Ian. I will definitely be taking all my rare and precious vehicles there and would highly recommend.

European Auto Service should be recognized as one the preeminent service, repair and restoration shops in California. John and his team did a phenomenal job on bringing my 1961 Mercedes 190sl to better than new condition with exceptional bodywork, a full factory authentic paint job and factory original leather upholstery. They also went through the engine and assured it ran like a Swiss watch! One impressive bit of work was the dry-ice blasting of the chassis and undercarriage which cleaned off all the grease and road grime safely with no damage to the paint and original surfaces. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased. All the work was top quality, the communication was excellent and I was always kept advised of the status and situation. Pricing was extremely competitive and represented a great value. I highly recommend John and his team!

6 Stars!!! It is not often that I need body work. But if I do, I bring it to John. The work is impeccable. Professionalism, quality of care. John and Vahe took very very good care of me. Vahe even knew the cool intricancies of my particular vehicle model; always appreciate another gearhead that talks to a lady like myself. Bonus - you get to see other really cool cars, like Astons etc. And if you time it right, you can stop at the discount Lanscape Fountain place next door - it's a full trip.

If you're looking for a restoration shop that treats your car like their own, delivers top-tier workmanship, and stands behind what they do, look no further! I am beyond happy with the results and wouldn't hesitate to recommend John and his team to anyone! They installed a M10 engine from a 1980 320i in my 1974 BMW 2002. This engine was fully rebuilt, prior to the installation, to factory standards, and then installed a complete custom built standalone engine management system and custom wiring harness into the car, allowing them to use modern electronic fuel injection. They also performed a manual transmission conversion using a rare 5 speed transmission from a late model E21. To achieve this, they fabricated a custom transmission crossmember, a custom built shift linkage, and a built and balanced a custom length driveshaft. After all these, they thoroughly tested and tuned the setup in the car to achieve better than factory levels of drivability, and much higher performance. Every detail was handled with care. precision, and obvious expertise. It's clear they truly understand these cars inside and out and take real pride in their work! Thank you, John!
