Stay away! Stay far far away. We took our car to Luis the first time to fix an engine overheating and coolant leaking. He charged us $800. The car drove 10 miles and the problem still persisted. He apologized profusely and said he'd come by our place to look at it and the car sat for two months and he never came. We took it back to him and he had it for three months and it still wasn't fixed. We already paid him $800 and weren't going to pay again for a problem that should have been fixed so the work went incompleted. Countless calls and texts went unanswered. When we did manage to get a hold of him there was always an excuse. Then when we were finally able to pick up our car he made it sound like it was our fault the car wasn't working properly. Unprofessional.

I was looking for a good mechanic in a Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Glassell Park, Glendale Ca, Pasadena Ca, Los Angeles, Los Feliz, Atwater Village, South Pasadena and couldn't find one until looking at the best rated in Yelp I bump in to Eagle Auto Repair they are located now at 3457 Fletcher Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90065 because they moved from their old location on York Blvd. I had the pleasure to talk to Luis about my 1967 Ford Mustang, he right away inspired me honesty and I took my car the next day, he is a really clean mechanic taking care of the inspection and making sure he did not use my car as a tool table like other places I have been. I left my car there for one day because he was going to check where was it leaking brake oil and he did call me the next day, I was amazed with his honesty because at other auto mechanics they told me I needed to change many parts, his honesty was 100% by telling me the exact problem and saving me money in the repairs, he fixed my car and communicated with me over the phone to let me know what was going on with my car, when he billed me I did not care at that point how much he charged me. Why? Because his honesty and knowledge deserves getting pay well, if you are looking for a honest auto shop around the area I highly recommend Eagle Auto Repair because Luis and his Dad go the extra mile.

Luis Is amazing. I went into the shop for something else, while i was there i mentioned my issues about my AC not working and my radio, on my 1987 El Camino, he went to work right away and i drove my classic out of there with a bumping radio and cold AC, and a new windshield from Universal Auto glass next door. And it was his birthday!!!

Don’t waste your time here guys. I heard about this place because supposedly the mechanic is amazing at what he does. I’ve called a few times to ask for the guy who owns this place if he could work on my 65 riviera I had about 20k to dump on it and never got a phone call back. I tried to email call and called his contacts to get back to me. I ended up finding a real shop that’s been around before this foo was even a wet spot. If you want real quality work take your car to Bruns Kustom City. This guys work is mediocre at best and BRUNS These guys are a true one stop shop and don’t play Mickey Mouse games. Don’t waste your time here. The guys gonna give you an excuse that he’s going through some family issues. Buck it up foo people get divorced all the time.

This place is amazing! They are honest, hard working, and are super helpful. I took my Toyoya Camry in a while ago which was having engine problems. They fixed it for cheap, and even drove me to my work after as a courtesy. Later, I brought the same car in for a new radiator. Again, they resolved the problem and got me back on the road in no time. Best place in town I know so far.
