My car was about to blow up after driving 300 miles from home when I barely made it into this shop. It was overheating and not running well at all! I was going to be late for my family cruise and was very stressed out as you can imagine. Ronald and his wife calmed me down and assured me they would have my car up and running in 3 days when my cruise ended. They told me to go and not worry. There was more wrong with my car than I had anticipated but they handled it all. They made sure it was perfect before we took our 6 hour drive home. They took good care of us while we waited for my car to be done and are great people. I was very happy I pulled into DRS when I was at my worst. When I pulled out and headed home I was so grateful that their mechanic treated my car as his own. He made sure it was in tip top shape before he let us go. I would definitely recommend DRS auto shop if you are in the San Pedro area. (This was our first time in this town). Ronald, his wife Cherokee, and their awesome mechanic, whose name I can’t remember took good care of us and I am forever grateful. P. S. Our drive home to Modesto was smooth and without worry. Thank you DRS!! I appreciate you and your hospitality so much!!

For 7 years I’ve ALWAYS taken my car(s) to the DRS (the Doctor!!!)! The most responsible group of mechanics/engineers capable of analyzing the entire picture and keep the automobile running. Clean workspace is important. There has always been a sense of “community. San Pedro is a “automotive” city. Lot’s of garage etc. Once working with DRS, you don’t to look any further.

It is hard to find a good reliable mechanic these days and I think the quality of work at DRS speaks for itself. I am very satisfied with how quickly my car was repaired, and the mechanic made sure to test drive it before handing off my keys and now my car is running smooth. View on GoogleI took my car there thinking it was the past owner. Found out that it had been bought by friends of the previous owner. I went in for a "coolant" leak. Three trips later, with a $3400 total bill, I was understandingly angry at the owner. But four months later, my engine is 20 degrees cooler than ever, and runs like a sewing machine! Apparently, the five minutes that I let the motor run with no coolant "warped" all the soft aluminum parts ( intake exhaust, timing chain cover and a bad heater core hose!) Thus the multiple repairs.
