I recently brought in a single 20-inch black wheel from my Porsche 911 991.1 to be refinished at Custom Wheel Refinishing on Lankershim Boulevard, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. If you go, make sure to ask for Michael—he is a total pro. Michael walked me through the entire refinishing procedure, explaining exactly how they would handle the finish on my 911’s wheel. It’s refreshing to work with someone so knowledgeable and willing to educate the customer. They delivered the wheel back to me exactly on time as communicated, and the quality is spot on. Highly recommended for any Porsche owners looking for quality craftsmanship!

Once I brought in my 2020 VW GLI, Joe was incredibly helpful in navigating the authorization and payment with the insurance company. I had a set of BBS wheels rebuilt by this shop a few months ago, and unfortunately the quality of the work has not held up. The wheels now leak air which should never happen after a proper rebuild. What’s even more frustrating is that when I contacted the company about the issue, they refused to stand behind their work. Instead of helping resolve the problem or offering any kind of support, they pushed the responsibility back on me and wanted more payment. I have invested good money expecting reliable service and craftsmanship, but that’s not what I received. Based on my experience, I can’t recommend this shop for high end wheel repair or rebuilding. I’m disappointed and now have to pay someone else to fix what should have been done correctly the first time.
