I needed to take my car across country, and he refused work that would have been expensive (aka more money for him) because he insisted the fix still wouldn't have given me a safe drive. Several other mechanics I spoke to were more than willing to do the job... Instead I sold that car and John helped me research a used truck. After I bought it they did all the adjustments and replaced hoses etc. for a great price. If I were staying in LA, Choi's would be my mechanic for life... great prices, super friendly, very honest. Thanks again!
View on GoogleWent to AAMCO and a “Certified Porsche” mechanic shop before finding John and his team; they were able to swap out the transmission and replace the water pump on what was essentially, a mechanically totaled vehicle (its now got a new life instead of an early grave). Thank you again to John and his team at Choi’s Transmission Center.
View on GoogleI brought in my 2008 BMW 750 LI for a whole new transmission because BMW charged an arm and a leg. Look for John he is the owner and I think this place has been in business for a while as a family business. They also gave me a ride to my office, which was thoughtful and appreciated because taxi prices are high! If anything goes wrong, he will take care of you. Trustworthy shop!
