Cerdas Auto Service

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I hired Cerdas to reupholster my boat cushions and was told I could pay by credit card or Zelle. When I went to pick them up, the manager, Fernando, suddenly demanded cash only and refused to release the cushions. I offered to pay with both Zelle and credit card, as we had agreed, but they refused. I made multiple trips trying to resolve it and wasted over four hours of my time. When I offered to pay via Zelle — as we had discussed — both Fernando and his mother refused, raised their voices at me, and behaved in a way that made me feel threatened. I ultimately had to call the police, and only after the officers arrived did they finally agree to accept the Zelle payment and hand over the cushions. To make matters worse, the cushions were in terrible shape — dirty, marked, with damaged vinyl, no skillset shown, don’t know how to do piping, wasted materials — and still extremely overpriced. They were supposed to make new piping with the vinyl I provided, but at pickup they stated they didn’t know how. They put the old piping on, even though I specifically asked not to use the old one. The business also appears to operate with undocumented workers and shady business practices. The entire process was stressful, unprofessional, and needlessly hostile. I strongly advise avoiding Cerda's. You can get better quality reupholstered boat cushions elsewhere for a fraction of the cost, without the aggravation or risk.

I been working with cerdas auto services, for the past 1yr and has been the best decision I had made, I drive 45 min , especially Fernando the owner he listened to your issues them he introduced you to the mechanic that will be working on your car, make me feel welcome and secure the job will get done right , it like other shops you go for a tail light and they want to fix your transmission, and charge you a ton of money , prices are great he would work with you .

Took my car on Saturday and they were super busy, but Fernando schedule me for Monday morning. I went in cause my AC wasn’t working or turning on. Took my car and left it there, about an hour later he calls me letting me know the issue and what the cost would be. Prior of going to them, I went somewhere else and was told they had to order the parts that were needed and never heard from them. Well with Fernando I didn’t had to wait for the parts to come in, they took care my AC issue, and then he calls me about my breaks being worn out and my rotors where bad (I was aware of that and was going to take it to my dads mechanic) but since he was taking care of my AC and the price wasn’t bad. I just went ahead and have them do everything. He has good customer service and gave me a decent price for everything they did. If I would’ve gone to the dealer just for my AC I would’ve paid the same amount and not gotten my breaks and rotors done. I’m very satisfied with the service and the time frame it took to get it done wasn’t bad at all. Definitely coming back for future services.

I’ve been a customer of Cerda’s for several years now always a pleasure to work with them I would drive from Seattle over to la and always had them pre-check my vehicle before leaving out of state and I’ve always made it back safe . Definitely recommend them for any type of mechanical issues very communicative and professional folks

Cerda is friendly and helpful. most women don’t know a lot about their cars and he helped explain everything to me thoroughly and made me feel like I made the right decision to go with his mechanic shop
