Carlos Auto Garage

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with my experience. In 2023, I paid Carlos in full to replace the transmission on my vehicle. I trusted him, as I had done business with him before and always paid promptly and in good faith. Now that the transmission is having issues again, and Nissan happens to have a recall on Transmissions of the year, make, and models of my vehicle they're requesting proof the transmission was actually replaced When I contacted Carlos for documentation or confirmation of the service I paid for, I was unable to get any written proof, receipts, or clear answers. Communication became difficult and unhelpful. This has put me in a very stressful position, especially considering the amount of money involved and the seriousness of a transmission replacement. No customer should be left without documentation for major work they were told was completed and paid for. Transparency, accountability, and proper record-keeping are basic expectations when you trust someone with a repair this significant. Unfortunately, this experience has completely shaken my trust, and I would strongly advise others to make sure they receive written proof and records for any major services performed here. Years ago Carlos was a much better, trustworthy mechanic! Now I think I may have a civil matter.

I cannot begin to express how lucky and thankful I was for finding Carlos Auto Garage. I had just gotten rear ended by a tow truck (who then fled the scene) on the 105 W Freeway. I quickly I filed a police report and tried to find a shop and all of them were closing and my car was making weird noises and heating up.... I eventually stopped by Carlos' garage. From the moment I got there and with very little hope of finding someone willing to help, Carlos came out and was very supportive he assured me he had things handled and was going to do everything to help me. By this point I was in tears and couldn't believe how kind he was. Before I left I provided my insurance claim information and left. The next day I was dreading having to call my insurance and doing all of the paperwork for the claim. To my surprise, when I called my insurance they said the claim had already been approved. By 9am, Carlos had already submitted photos, videos, and gotten on a video call with my insurance not to mention had them arrange a car rental for me too. I immediately called him to thank him and he said would take about two weeks to finish. He went above and beyond to help me out! I'm more than happy with the work that was done and thankful I was in good hands throughout the process. They did an awesome job and will recommend him from here on out! Car problems are never a good thing, but they are inevitable. Carlos is so outstanding, you may actually be grateful for the car issues that lead you to his shop! Thats how good he is! A part of me wishes I could keep him a secret. But he deserves all the business he gets. Like otherd have said; theres a reason there are so many cars at his shop! He does his absolute best to get you the best service in the fastest time possible at the best price possible. Cant recommend him enough!

Best repair shop hands down. I had an accident and it was the worst thing ever, but luckily I found this repair shop close to my home and Carlos and his team made the process of my repair so easy they took care of everything I just put them in contact with my insurance and they took over and made my life so easy thank you again for the amazing experience and amazing work on my car.
