Hands-down, the most honest mechanic I've ever met. Went in with an issue with my X2. Bruce was able to pretty much diagnose it just from our conversation. He scanned it for free and scanned it twice for accuracy. I walked away with great advice on how to keep the air conditioning and the engine running better. He gained a customer for life! I highly recommend

Bruce is not just a great mechanic, he is enthusiastic about helping people through their car problems and he is passionate about BMWs. Always caring and thoughtful, perhaps to a fault. I’ve told him many times that he just doesn’t charge enough. I’d take my car in, to replace a transmission (cracked case). I will estimate how long and therefore how much the job will cost. Bruce is consistently 20-25% below. Honest to a fault. Yeah, I’ll tip to make some difference. Bartel is a great mechanic, but an even better person.
View on GoogleBruce is amazing. I'm not your average BMW owner, as I don't have much money for repairs and maintenance. Bruce is a mechanic of the highest caliber, and is much in demand. Yet he squeezed me into his schedule, and not only did the necessary repair, he did it quickly enough for me to go on a roadtrip to visit my family. He showed true integrity and consideration to me. View on GoogleBruce is an awesome guy. He's super friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. His work is top-notch, and can explain what needs to be done to the vehicle. He's helped out a bunch when I can't do something myself, whatever the circumstance, and is a trustworthy mechanic. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with any kind of BMW, classic or new. He even works on a couple race cars now and again, and it's cool to see what rolls into his shop.
