I’ve got a flat tire on the freeway and rushed to the nearest tire shop to fix it. The guys were very friendly and welcoming, accepted my car very quickly right away and did excellent job! I was pleasantly surprised and appreciative for their wonderful service. Thank you so much! I would definitely recommend this place for tire service and I will tell about it to all my friends.

had an incredible experience at American Tire Centers today and felt compelled to leave a review. I came in unexpectedly with a flat tire caused by a nail, and from the moment I arrived, everyone immediately jumped in to help me. The team was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They repaired the tire, noticed rust on the back of my wheels, and even polished it without me asking. What truly amazed me was that they refused to charge me anything — zero charge — and simply wished me luck on my way. It’s rare to experience this level of honesty, generosity, and human kindness these days. I’m still in disbelief at how well I was treated. Thank you to the entire team for restoring my faith that there really are wonderful people out there. I will absolutely recommend American Tire Centers to everyone I know.

I’ve been really fortunate to have found John and his team at American Tire Centers (ATC) in December 2023. Today (in 2026) I went in to get all four brake pads replaced because the dealership had told me my brake pads were measuring between 3mm-4mm, basically in the yellow. Though I don’t drive much, with all the erratic drivers out there I thought it best to get it taken care of. I did call around to see what the lay of the land is — whether I pay less or more, I try my best to make conscious choices of what/where I’m spending my money on. Though with a coupon another major chain was $30 cheaper, I decided to go with ATC because I trust John and they respect me and my time. I’d rather continue to build my relationship with John and give them my business than save $30. Well, John personally inspected my brakes and said my brake pads don’t need to get replaced! None of them! I believed him when he told me the first time, but he took the time to take out the measuring tool and showed me how much padding I actually had left. I’ve been meaning to write this review, and this was the push to get it done! Chris was working the desk today and managing the office, and he was incredibly friendly and professional too. Below are the top reasons why John gets my business: Clear & Direct Communication: Some mechanics are very cagey about quoting prices, timelines, and appointments. There’s a place that I go to for under the hood stuff, which John doesn’t do, who really doesn’t like to give me an estimate over email or phone. I get it — when you actually start working on a car sometimes the prices change. But I do need a ballpark so I can figure out what card to use or budget, etc. John is always responsive, clear, and accurate. I’ve gotten at least 3-4 quotes from him that all were honored and completed as detailed in our emails. Now, I am also very clear with him about what I need to get the done and what the condition of the car is in, etc. So if you are clear with him, he will be clear with you! Pricing & Value: I talk to other drivers and try to give a few places a call on top of doing my own research before I get any work done. John gave me the best price when I replaced all 4 tires in 2023. He was able to bundle that along with a brake flush and wheel alignment. For considerably less than the dealership, and actually from other retailers, even Costco. When my tire got slashed my a homeless person, he checked it to see if he could patch it, but when it had to be replaced he just charged me for the tire itself. Btw, this was a couple years later and he gave me the same price for the tire as when he replaced it the first time. Efficient: If I had found ATC years earlier, I would’ve saved so much time getting any work done on my car! Unlike other places, if you set an appointment with John, he usually gets it done very quickly. Most work I’ve scheduled with him, gets done within the hour—if not sooner! Of course, this depends on what type of work you’re doing, but he’s very efficient and makes sure to honor any appointments. Honesty: Cars are like teeth. Incredibly important, mysterious (unless you know cars and teeth), and usually VERY expensive! There is a level of trust you have to have in the people working in such a specialized field. There are some unscrupulous people, who do take advantage of people who don’t know better and charge more, recommend extra but unnecessary services, or straight up lie. I feel so happy that with John I know he will get the work done well and I don’t have to worry about it after it is done. He is honest about what I need to get done and how much it costs. He also takes the time to explain certain aspects of each service. When I was surprised I had to get my tires replaced because I hadn’t yet driven 30,000 miles, he took the time to explain why and how tires deteriorate. This level of trust, honesty and care is worth its weight in gold. John is a man of few words, but when your work reflects your values you don’t need to talk to prove it! ATC is truly a gem!
