Bought a used car on Monday and needed a mechanic to do a general inspection and make sure everything was up to date. I called Am-Ko Friday morning to book a Saturday appointment, and later that day my schedule opened up, so I called back to see if I could bring it in sooner. Sevan was super accommodating and welcomed me in on short notice. Sevan inspected the car and took it for a test drive, explained what needed urgent attention, and then Guillermo handled some of the service and the post-service test drive. Sevan also let me know when I should come back for the next service. I’ll definitely be coming back. They’re honest, easy to work with, and clearly care about their customers. They even replaced a turn signal bulb and a reverse light bulb for free, which I really appreciated.

I have wonderful service every time I come in and everything always exceeds my expectations. Sevan is always punctual and straight to the point of what you need. If I could give 6 stars I would. Highly recommend if you ever have car issues.

View on GoogleFound a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change here that was half of what my mechanic (whom Ive been going to for ~9 years now) would charge~ PLUS, the last time I went to my mechanic for an oil change, shortly thereafter my car threw a CEL (which would go off and come back on intermittently, and didn't seem to affect performance), but I didn't put two and two together until Am Ko did my oil change and the CEL has been off and so far stayed off, so Im wondering if my old mechanic put in the wrong oil or an aftermarket filter or something.... anyway, the oil change here was super quick!! Like, 15 mins whereas my old mechanic would take an hour. I also asked them to check my brakes, and Sevan had one of his guys do it really quick and gave me the information I needed. Really great experience. I may have just found myself a new mechanic!! Even driving to Canoga Park from Sherman Oaks, where my old mechanic was 2 mins down the street- I would make the trek to come here again and get honest, fast and reliable work done!
