Nobody loves taking their car in for transmission work, but Junior at Albert's Auto Transmission made it so much easier than I expected. He's honest, communicates well, and actually explains what's going on instead of just throwing a bill at you. Felt zero pressure and zero stress dealing with him. It's hard to find a shop you actually trust, and this is one of them. Highly recommend
View on GoogleHad a transmission issue and this place was recommended. Note that there is a $250 diagnostic fee that is given back if you choose to do the repair with the shop. I recommend going to Leon’s a few minutes away that will do the same diagnostic for free. Another issue I ran into was that they initially offered me a 10% coupon for labor but when I went to pay, they said the coupon was “old” and they didn’t accept it anymore, which went against what two other people there told me previously. So that was disappointing, but felt like an honest mistake/miscommunication on their part. But for consumer legal reasons, they really need to be more careful about those kinds of coupons. At the end of the day, a decent shop, but you may want to try Leon’s first for the reasons mentioned.
