I love Tony. He is a great guy. The work is excellent. He helped me when I had my 87 VW Jetta even though now I don't have it anymore. I now own a 98 Honda Accord and don't go to anyone else, but Tony. My mom and I come here whenever we have any problems and he helps us right away and solves them all. If you want quality work for a great price, this is the place. And smog checks do not take two hours. I know they vary on time due to the type of car but please do not let some over exaggerating drama queen ruin a review of this. Tony is a great mechanic. Period.

This business is licensed by the CA Dept. of Motor Vehicles to perform headlamp and brake inspections. This was the only licensed headlamp and brake inspection businesses that I was able to locate in my area. Upon taking the vehicle to this business, I was told to have the fender repaired sufficiently to be able to secure the missing signal cover. That repair was made and the vehicle was returned to this business the following morning. At that time the owner performed a visual inspection of the headlamps and told me that he could not be sure the headlamp adjustment would pass inspection. I asked him to inspect them anyway, and that if they failed I would have whatever further repairs needed to correct the problem performed. He then refused to inspect the vehicle at all. I used no foul language and did my best to be cooperative. I explained that his business was the only one I'd been able to locate in my area that's licensed to perform these inspections, that I only had a DMV moving permit for the vehicle for that day, and it's a hassle to go back to the DMV office and ask for another one. He didn't care. My request was reasonable and the services I requested are required by law in order to complete the registration of the vehicle. I feel that this business had no reasonable standing for refusing to provide the requested and required inspections.

On July 8, 2020 I had my sister's 2002 Civic Honda cylinder head cover gasket and seal replaced due to oil leak. After one month I checked it out and there was still oil leak at the passenger side end of the cylinder head cover under the two bolts for the round rubber seal which I think he did not tighten enough. I took back the car on August 20th and showed him there's still a leak and it should be under warranty. He said it's not part of what he did and it will cost me 80 dollars cash to replace the round rubber seal. When I pick up the car I asked him if I can see the old rubber seal replaced. He said he threw it away. I know he did not replace the seal, he only tightened the two small bolts on top of it. I paid him cash for the 3rd time without issuing me an invoice. The guy is dishonest and a cheat.

Known Neri, the owner of this mechanics shop, for many many years. I owe this man a lot for how he's saved me in the craziest of situations. While he is EXTREMELY competent in his work, he is a VERY funny guy, if you can humorously nudge him the right way. ;) Haha Just an fyi, while he is an "all rounder" mechanic, his specialty from what I've observed is/are Toyotas. He wants to promote good and/or long term good car habits because he's been there himself, and genuinely wants great things for everyone. I can only say great things about Neri. If you're in the area, and want an HONEST mechanic for once l, with a wicked sense of humor, choose Neri at advanced automotive care. For me, it's never an "if" I should go to Neri for my next car check up, but rather, "when". And that's the best feeling to have, in my humble opinion. Thank you Neri, always. This repair shop came highly recommended to me by a close friend. The service is friendly and fast and most importantly I always feel that I am receiving an honest assessment of the situation. Finding a mechanic who is trustworthy is top on my list. I am grateful for Neri and Advanced Ailutomotive Care.
