I really really like this shop. I’ve had my oil changed twice here as well as my catalytic converter and exhaust pieces replaced. Ruben is really helpful and approachable, and I feel very comfortable here as a woman. It never feels like they’re trying to take advantage of me and I feel like the prices have been very reasonable.

"Avoid this shop if you have a Groupon. It’s a bait-and-switch trap." I used a coupon here, but they immediately made excuses to charge for "extra oil" beyond the standard 5 quarts. They were incredibly vague about the oil's quality and source. Don't be fooled by the low upfront price—they will find a way to upcharge you with hidden fees. Total lack of transparency. Save your money and go to an honest mechanic. ——————————————————————— "Stop making excuses. My car is NOT a European model and it only takes 5 quarts of oil, yet you had the audacity to tack on an extra $15. That is not 'standard practice'—it’s a straight-up scam. To make matters worse, you provided zero information about the oil used. No brand, no specs, nothing. If you're that desperate for money, stop hiding behind misleading Groupons and put your actual prices on a banner like a legitimate business. Dragging people in with a discount only to hit them with hidden fees is shady as hell. Your business mindset is absolutely pathetic. Professional mechanics don't operate like bottom-feeders."

6/30/26 BEWARE!!!!!!!!! CARS GET STOLEN FROM HERE !!!! Their entire response was a lie. Beware when leaving your vehicle at this shop. My experience was extremely disappointing and stressful after my vehicle was stolen while it was in THEIR shop When I contacted the business and later dealt with my insurance company, THEY REFUSED TO EVEN ADMIT THE CAR WAS STOLEN FROM THERE. THEY REFUSE TO EVEN GIVE A STATEMENT TO THEIR CAR INSURANCE COMPANY Rubens explanation on what happened was inconsistent,HE NEVER CALLED THE POLICE And him calling to tell us two days later Left with serious concerns about the security of vehicles left at this location .If you’re considering bringing your car here, I encourage you to ask detailed questions about their security procedures and what steps they take if something goes wrong. I cannot recommend this shop based on my experience.

This review is long overdue. Not only is everyone here super friendly and honest, but they do incredible work for a great price ! I get my oil changed here regularly and just about anything I need for my car, they can do! I recommend them to all of my friends and they even took my old car headlights and made them look amazing! Highly recommend 5 Speed Motors for oil changes,auto repairs, car maintenance and everything in between! They are great!

My wife and I was a loyal customer for 8 years when Chris managed this shop. Fair pricing, stood behind their work, excellent customer service. Unfortunately, that’s ancient history. Since Rubin took over, the experience has been a nightmare. I paid $3,800+ for electrical work on my antique car (1989 Mazda MX-6 Turbo), and problems keep multiplying: Battery Bait-and-Switch: I brought in a brand-new TOP-OF-THE-LINE AGM Optima battery from O’Reilly’s - the kind designed for multiple discharge cycles that my high-performance car needs. They left the ignition switch disengaged (the very problem they were supposed to fix), which killed my premium battery. Nick promised to maintain it - they didn’t. Now Rubin wants to replace MY expensive battery with a bare minimum Interstate battery that won’t handle my car’s electrical demands. He’s acting like he’s doing ME a favor when THEY destroyed my brand-new battery through negligence. Then he claimed he’d call O’Reilly’s to help - ghosted me completely, now pretends that conversation never happened. Car Returned in Unacceptable Condition: ∙ Windshield filthy, couldn’t see through it ∙ Backseat completely disconnected ∙ Wires hanging everywhere ∙ Screws/washers scattered throughout ∙ Radio disconnected and non-functional The Real Issue: Changed ignition, didn’t fix door lock (need 2 keys now). Door lock fell inside door. Gauge cluster doesn’t work - can’t monitor speed, fuel, or temperature. Story keeps changing: ignition problem, then radio, then “your car has electrical issues.” Wait - I paid you $3,800 to FIX the electrical issues. If my battery keeps dying, you didn’t fix anything. Now Rubin has selective amnesia about every promise made. This shop went from reliable to predatory. Buyer beware.
