Robert and John showed exceptional honesty and integrity when assessing my recently purchased used car. Although the vehicle needed multiple extensive repairs, instead of taking advantage of the situation, they advised me not to waste my money trying to fix it. Out of pure kindness, they didn't even charge me their standard assessment fee. I highly recommend them for their transparency and customer-first approach.
View on GoogleRobert was amazing! Kind and patient on the phone as well. I drove to have him look at it and he agreed it required what I deduced it required. I sourced and had all the parts shipped to me and brought my car to him and he was able to fix it all in one day and showed me what he'd done and the old broken parts. He was excellent! And his price for labor was reasonable, which is rare these days. I will be bringing my Saab to Robert going forward.
View on GoogleJohn is the best mechanic ever. I got into a rear end accident the other day and the dealership referred me to a body shop which quoted me 2,600$ saying I need to change my entire bumper and the headlight. Then I was lucky to find 2 guys from Sweden. John did a full diagnostic and told me I only need one headlight and the bumper was fine. He even suggested I should get a used one instead of a new one to save money. What an honest man! The bill came down to 145$ with him changing the headlight and aligning my bumper as well as fixing some scratches. If you have a Volvo/Saab you should check them out before paying a ridiculous price elsewhere. They might surprise you!

View on GoogleBeen going to Robert and John since I moved to LA, and they are always incredibly professional. It's been surprisingly hard to find another place in LA that won't freak out at the mere sight of a Volvo. In addition to being extremely accessible and communicative, they are also honest people who will do their best to diagnose your car's troubles and make fair suggestions during regular maintenance. I moved further eastward across town and they're still the only shop I trust!
