Absolutely unacceptable experience. I placed my order a long time ago, and it still has not been shipped. The lack of communication and complete disregard for customers is shocking. I have repeatedly tried to get clear answers, but instead I was met with nothing. At this point, I have reported the transaction to my bank and have also contacted the relevant consumer protection authorities because I no longer have confidence that this company intends to fulfill my order in a reasonable timeframe. I strongly advise anyone considering ordering from German Audio Tech to think twice. In my experience, this company has failed to provide even the most basic level of customer service or professionalism. Until my order is either shipped or refunded, I cannot recommend this business to anyone.

Beware — Dishonest audio company. I bought a new digitizer for my car’s navigation syetem that German Audio Tech claimed would fit my make and model. They were very slow to ship it to me, but after multiple inquiries they finally shipped it. I paid a local audio company over $1,000 to install it, but after disassembling my dash they discovered the new digitizer wouldn’t fit my car. They provided side-by-side photos of the original digitizer and the new digitizer. I asked German Audio Tech to exchange the incorrect digitizer for a correct digitizer. They asked me what is the correct digitizer and I provided part numbers and photos. Then they went silent. I sent many emails, texts, voicemails, and letters, but they wouldn’t answer. Finally, I requested an RMA and refund (again via voicemail, text, email, and postal letter). Again, no response. I returned their digitizer in original condition and original packaging and tracking, and with a letter of detailed explanation and photos, and requested a refund. German Audio Tech signed for the return package, but never contacted me or refunded my money. I continued to leave voicemails, write letters, send texts and emails. They never responded. Totally dishonest company!

I needed a replacement unit for my vehicle after the original screen stopped working properly. After searching online, I found one at a great price that was fully functional. The item arrived in excellent condition and worked perfectly. I’m very happy to have found German Audio Tech—thank you for helping me solve my problem.

CONSUMER EXTORTION & ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY – DO NOT TRUST Absolute nightmare experience. I sent my gauge cluster to German Audio Tech to fix dead pixels. They confirmed my correct address in Connecticut, but completely botched the shipment and sent my critical vehicle component to a random address in California. When I left an honest review about this massive blunder, the owner actively resorted to illegal behavior. They are now explicitly holding my paid-in-full property hostage, stating in writing that they will refuse to return my item unless I delete my negative review. Under California law and the federal Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA), it is highly illegal to use physical property as ransom to coerce feedback removal. This is a clear case of civil conversion and consumer extortion. The aggressiveness, total lack of accountability, and predatory tactics from this shop are staggering. A formal complaint has been filed with California Attorney General Rob Bonta’s office and eBay Trust & Safety. If you value your vehicle, your money, and your sanity, do not do business with German Audio Tech. They will lose your parts and then try to bully you into silence. Update: The owner shipped my part back to me after a nice legal letter he received, reminding him that consumer extortion is illegal in this country. He's a complete tool, take your business elsewhere.

Horrible horrible horrible! Drove 1.5 hrs to his "shop" which was a PO Annex with my Mercedes radio. On/off button quit working. Would never fix it. After many calls and emails, the only way I got his attention was to write bad reviews. Said if I took them off, he'd repair for $500. NEVER REPAIRED, KEPT MY RADIO! PO manager tried to help but said he was like this. Ended up buying one on ebay for half the price. Glad I'm writing this review.
