If I could give them zero stars I would. I dropped off my car to look at a rear door that wasn't locking all the way and while I was there have them replace the passenger side door handle that had snapped loose. My car is all silver. When I went to pick up my car they put a black handle on the door. The girl at the front desk said she didn't know the part she ordered was black. Fine. But then Carlos who I talked to said the person installing it didn't know the handle was black either. Exscue me? The mechanic installing the car could not tell the difference between the black handle and the all silver car? Not once did I receive a call asking if installing the black handle was okay. And Carlos' excuse for which ever mechanic was installing the door handle was ridiculous. Obviously the handle is black my car is all silver. Did the mechanic not stop to think what the owner of the car wanted first? No they didn't. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have done the same thing to the BMW sitting in their shop. The worst part is that they offered to paint the door handle. But I would have to pay an additional $50 bucks for the paint job. So that means paying for a part that I do not want and a paint job to fix THEIR MISTAKE! The girl there said they would color match it. You guys didn't color match the door handle in the first place, why I would trust you to paint it the right color? The lack of commone sense and critical thinking skills is off the charts with these people. There is no pride in the work they do. It's pathetic. The people and the owner Carlos are disrespectful, manipulative, imcompetent, rude, dismissive. It's things like this why women don't trust mechanics. Way to live up to the stereotype Elite. SMH.

Wow! I was amazed Carlos and Gustavo fixed my car, I really didn't think it was possible because I had already taken it to two other mechanics. They are so kind and professional I won't be taking my car anywhere else! They took the time to explain and show me exactly what was going on even filming a video to explain the parts they were fixing. My car is a 2011 Nissan Sentra with over 130k miles on it that has been having the check engine light come off and on for a year. Gustavo explained to me that the injectors were clogged and they cleaned them and now my car is running amazingly. They also told me exactly what I should consider taking care of in the future with a full diagnostic. You can be assured they are very trustworthy and experienced mechanics who offer great prices!

Carlos and team at Elite Auto Repair in Long Beach have top notch customer service and care. I came in with my Kia Soul with a seemingly damaged injector and Carlos was able to diagnose and quickly get to the issue. I delivered the car early and when I came back to check they taxi’d me back to the convention I was at. They’re always packed with cars and working hard past their closing hours. I had high hopes for this place because they hold a high rating and they’re across the street from one of my garages. They repaired one of my tires with a silicone coated screw plug. This method is a temporary solution for emergencies but is not acceptable as a permanent fix. The mechanic said it was too much labor to patch it from the inside. He offered to patch it correctly after I pointed out the screw plug, but at that point I lost confidence in their abilities. I am a certified a&p mechanic and own a collection of classic cars.

I had a really good experience at Elite Auto Repair with Carlos and his team. I went in for a routine oil change and the whole process was quick and straightforward. They got my car in right away and had it done faster than I expected. What I liked most was how transparent they were. They explained what they were doing and didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need, which I really appreciated. Everything felt honest and professional, and the price was exactly what they said it would be. Overall, the service was efficient, clear, and hassle-free. It’s nice finding a shop you can trust, and I’ll definitely be coming back for future maintenance.
