Had damage to the heads by previous mechanic. Brought it in for a full rebuild. They only did work on the heads(damaged valves and stems) honed cylinders, but did not replace lifters. Now I have failing lifters. Extremely dissatisfied with the work done. Charged over $6 thousand and after full rebuild lifters need to be replaced with less than 1000 miles. They even removed my AC compressor and hose to access heads, and charged me for new hose and recharge unit. Entire unit was replaced 18 months ago. So I know the system was brand new with no leaks. They removed system to make their job easier not because it needed to be replaced. Now he wants to charge me for replacing lifters that should have been replace during rebuild. I would have paid for new lifters but not labor, because lifters should have been replaced because of damage done to valves.

A man approached me, and I informed him that I had a flat tire. As I was explaining the situation, he walked over to inspect my tires. After checking, he abruptly asked what I wanted, either air or a repair. I requested a repair and asked for the price. He then spoke to someone and quoted me $45 for the patch and an additional $35 for patch work, stating that both charges were required. I decided to leave because the price seemed unusually high. I went to another location afterward and received a completely different quote. I work in this area, and due to the ongoing construction and the number of screws on the ground, I have a general understanding of typical pricing for tire repairs. I also understand that if a shop is busy, they can simply decline the job. What I do not understand is why I consistently receive different quotes when I am alone compared to when I am with my father.

They quickly diagnosed the issue, it turned out to be a defective part, and replaced it at no cost. This isn’t my first time here, and they’ve always been honest and professional, which is hard to find these days in an auto repair shop. Highly recommended
