Gary and his son Anthony were wonderful to deal with. I came in with what I thought was a nail in my tire and it turned out to be a cracked rim. Needless to say they ensured me the problem was totally fixable and not to worry. They quickly fixed the rim and tire and I left a happy customer. They earned my future business and I will recommend anyone with car troubles to them from here on out.
View on GoogleMy wife and I have been customers of Route 66 tires & auto repair for oil changes and tire replacements for the past 2 years. On 7/29/23 my wife and I came to Gary for front end strut replacement on our 2019 GMC Yukon. The choice was made to go with aftermarket struts by Arnott. Gary ordered them and had the work done the next day. Days later I noticed that the front end of the vehicle looked noticeably lower in the front, and the driving quality wasn't how it was before we brought it in. So, we brought it back to Gary, he test drove it, he said it looked normal and drives normal and that he would look into it. We came back and said everything was good, but I wasn't convinced. So we took it to a highly recommended mechanic with our concerns. And he noticed right away that there was an issue with the struts due to the front end so low. Then I explained to him we just had them replaced a year ago. So the new mechanic after looking into it told us the struts that were installed were not the right height for this vehicle, so we went ahead and had new struts installed and it's night and day, it's 2 inches higher, back to normal ride height and the ride quality is great again. Days later after this repair I went back to Route 66 tires & repair to see Gary and if there was any warranty on the Arnott struts that he installed or could reimburse some of the costs. He told me there was nothing he could do. Basically, do not go to this place of business, with anything other than a tire issue or an oil change. The most concerning thing about this is that he shows zero remorse and accountability that in fact something wasn't right, and made us feel that we were wrong, bringing our concerns directly to him. It's Just not right.

Anthony is the best—he’s always professional, helpful, and makes sure everything is taken care of quickly. The customer service here is excellent, and they really go above and beyond to make sure you’re satisfied. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for reliable service and honest people!
View on GoogleBrought my friend’s car here for a new tire and rotation. Gary and Anthony provided a time estimate since our tire was a special size and would need to be delivered that morning. No problem on our end, we took a nice 10 minute stroll to get coffee down Route 66. After returning to the shop, we hung out with Mr G, the shop dog before our car was ready to go. Great service. Fast and accommodating. And trustworthy.

I even sent my ex wife to him🤣 no... but seriously, when her car didn't start I told her to tow it to him. He realized it was just a key battery issue, fixed it immediately and she drove away free of charge. Now that's a good man!🙏
