Amazing and Honest. I've taken 2 of my Fords to him and Art's work far exceeds my expectation. He is a man I can trust with his word and his work. Highly recommended

What a horrible feeling when your transmission needs replaced or fixed. Thoughts of 1000s of dollars out the window. It happens and when it does who can you trust? I have no clue. My vans gears were slipping and when I stopped it wouldn't go into gear when I tried to get back on the road. My heart sank. I looked up transmission shops nearby and Thank God Arts Transmissions was the closest. I called and there was Art. He asked a few questions and immediately started going on and on in transmission lingo. I was impressed. He made me feel comfortable though I knew it was going to hurt. He said call around , I did. Nobody nearby gave me more than 1/10th of the time, knowledge or trust I felt with Art. He helped me through trying to limp the van in. His advice worked. I barely limped in and there he was working his tail off. Stopped and greeted me with a big smile and a handshake. He explained he could get it done within a week. I limped the van back home. I brought the van back on a Wednesday he said maybe Friday he could finish. He called me Thursday to go over everything and said maybe Friday no promises most likely Monday. Friday at 1100am Art calls and said he just test drove it come get it. He initially Said it might be a few hundred extra dollars but in the end he was able to keep it at cost. He showed me exactly what he did with all the old parts and new boxes. He showed me a scanner that was linked to my electronics and showed that there were no issues. I drove the van home felt like new. I'm so impressed! I love give good reviews when good people deserve it. ARTS TRANSMISSIONS deserves a ten star. Service with a 😃 and then some! Thank you sir!

I needed a park neutral position safety switch replaced on my 2000 4Runner. The Toyota dealer estimate was suspiciously and outrageously high so I shopped around and found Art's Transmission down the road. Art is friendly, experienced, and his instant familiarity with the error code made me confident he could complete the job. And the total repair cost was a (tiny) fraction of the dealership estimate. Art mentioned the job was a little more complicated than he first thought but he still only charged his original estimate because that is how he operates. Uncommon and refreshing ethic. I am sick and tired of the dealership's practice of charging $199 to diagnose a check engine light. Even though they would apply that $199 to the repair job if I opted to have them complete the repair, I wrote it off and still came out WAY AHEAD by taking the vehicle to Art's instead.

Art rebuilt the transmission in my Ford F350 pickup. He was very honest with my husband & I. He didn't do anything without my husband's concent. When we picked up our truck he went over everything he did and had the old parts to show us. We are both pleased with the work that was done and the transmission seems to be doing great.
