Overpriced but I desperately needed the service. Took in my older vehicle, paid for a service my vehicle ran worse than when I dropped it off. Disclaimer: I knew my vehicle had its issues, it's very old and wasn't maintained well by previous owner but I KNOW for a fact it didn't drive the way it was returned to me. Out of desperation, I reluctantly took it back and had agreed with employee when I dropped it off what would be replaced etc. When I picked it up yeah it ran good again but it a few filters I had opted out of were changed anyways and I didn't get much explanation. I asked if my battery was ; told me it was good and should be charging right. I just paid and left. Fast forward a day, my car is still having issues starting up so I go to auto zone and have them check my battery and they show me on their tester the battery is bad. They didn't try to up sell me a new one or any other stuff but instead said I could take my battery back to the competition where I bought it and ask for a warranty swap. How the heck was my battery "good" when I left and bad the next day? I hadn't even driven the car more than picking up my kids right after the mechanic then straight home? Never going back. I'm out 1k, a few brain cells, and faith in mechanics.

I called the shop today and told them the situation my wife was facing, they said bring it in and I want to thank the guys a this shop for taking care of my truck today real quick after it broke down on my wife and needed a heater hose replaced and they fixed it at the end of the day and really saved us a lot especially with the kids in hand but they took care of this. When I took my jeep a month ago they were honest about the diagnosis and saved me from that as well. Good work Chuy' s. I appreciate it.
View on GoogleTook my car in for a question, they told me they would try to repair one thing at a time until it got fixed and charged me a diagnostic fee when they just opened the hood and looked for a second. These people are clowns. Found another shop and they repaired the problem same day and even removed the diagnostic fee for repairing it with them.
