If you're not a cat person, don't go. But if you like a fair price, honest assessment, decent folks, and a few, fat felines, this is it. Aamco quoted me $2800 plus for my BMW rebuild, which was my lowest quote. TH did it for $2200 and I'm at 20,000 miles and a year plus later and still running perfectly.

View on GoogleWent to this garage because the radiator fans weren't working, transmission didn't shift, speedometer didn't work, the car was overheating (probably due to the fans not working), and check engine light was on. The mechanic hooked up the diagnostic computer and took my car for a test drive. When he returned he proclaimed the both computers need to be replaced and the transmission probably needed to be rebuilt. No fix was offered for the speedometer or the radiator fans. They would do the work but I must first they wanted me to purchase the two computers (approximately $1200) and bring them back to be installed. This is problematic in that electrical parts are not returnable to the vendor. This make it a problem for me because A) if the mechanic ruined the parts when installing them I would be out the $1200, and B) if the parts weren't bad and the replacements not needed I would still be out $1200. I took my car to another mechanic who replaced three fuses and repaired the wiring harness where it was rubbing against the chassis. This fixed ll my problems. If they didn't want to fix my car, which is what think happened here, all they had to do was say no. Instead, they attempted to put me in a position where I would have been out a lot of money.
