I like going to Pidge for my Mercedes Sprinter. He has always been honest. If something is still under warranty, he will let you know and tell you that you can go to the dealership and get it repaired for free. He is the most honest mechanic I've come across in this area. I recently went there to have my oil and brakes changed. He changed my oil but not the brakes. He said the brakes were still good. I asked why I hear them squeaking sometimes. Then he asked me how long have I had the Sprinter. I've only had it a couple years and he said the previous owner put aftermarket brakes on them which is why they squeak sometimes, but they were still good and didn't need to be changed. Some places will still change your brakes just because you told them to even though they don't need to be changed. They do that just to charge you more. But Pidge is honest and didn't do that.

View on GoogleQuoted a high price for a repair which was not even necessary as it was not the cause of the issue. Glad another shop found the actual issue, which was a fraction of the cost quoted. Not sure if it was just a bad diagnostics on their part, but would definitely recommend getting 2nd and 3rd opinions from other shops first before doing a repair.
