Warning: Questionable Business Practices – Avoid This Shop Valley Auto Repair & Smog Station appears to engage in deceptive business practices. I was told the smog check would cost $40 and only be charged if the vehicle passed. However, unlike other smog check locations that perform a quick pre-check and notify you of issues without charging, this shop proceeded with the full test without any warning and then claimed the car failed—demanding $40 for the failed test and refusing to release the vehicle unless I paid. To make matters worse, they offered a “generous” deal to retest for half price—another $20—making it clear they were trying to extract more money under the guise of being helpful. Their pricing is unclear, their process lacks transparency, and the overall experience feels like a trap. I strongly advise others to stay away from this repair shop. There are many honest smog check providers out there—this is not one of them.

Valley Auto Repair & Smog Station (Frank) 200 Valley Blvd. Alhambra I don’t believe this business earned a 5 stars rating! I hadn’t gone to have my vehicle service at this VALLEY AUTO & SMOG STATION many years ago because they ruined my air conditioning which cost me money. I ended up selling my car. The basic engine oil service but turned out to be a major air conditioning service!!! To save you the money and headache, go somewhere else.
