Speedco Truck Lube and Tires

I had one of the worst service experiences here, and it cost me almost an entire working day. I checked in around 9:00 AM for service. From morning until 3:00 PM, I waited with no progress at all, while the service bays were clearly empty and not being used. There was no rush, no line of trucks being worked on — just empty bays and no action. Around 1:00 PM, I came back to the counter to politely ask if maybe my phone number was written down incorrectly. The employee I spoke with was extremely rude and dismissive. He said, “I have your number. I’ll call you,” and brushed me off. No call. No text. Nothing. At 3:00 PM, I came in again and found a different employee at the counter. He told me that they had switched shifts, and that he had no record of me being in the queue at all — no notes, no information, nothing. Then he casually told me I would have to wait again. At that point, I had no choice but to leave. I lost almost an entire shift and a full day of income because of this complete lack of organization and basic professionalism. The attitude of the staff was unacceptable — rude, careless, and disrespectful toward drivers. Management seriously needs to reconsider who they put behind the counter, because behavior like this directly damages the Love’s brand. This location is poorly managed, poorly coordinated, and shows zero respect for drivers’ time. Very disappointing.

Worst place don’t get inspections they charger $70 even if you fail. The Josh manager was really unprofessional telling me I have 24 hrs to fix it when it Labor Day. Yeah let me find some who’s working. I swear this place has more diabetics than mechanics. Inspections are $30-$40 hopefully yall can adjust your prices and policies to all the other loves truck stops.

This location got me on the books and pulled me in within a reasonable time they gave me a PM service change my oil lube my truck and also put on two new tires. The only issue I had was their computer system they did not enter information for an owner-operator being responsible for his own cost of repairs... So they caused me a delay in getting processed because they needed what they thought was a PO for the work. No PO was needed I am the damn PO.

First off Patrick was super nice and helpful. Its the other workers that suck. I checked in at 4pm Patrick informed me that it was probably an 4 hour wait. I agreed. I was called in a bit earlier at 7:15 i was in a bay. All I need we was 2 tires changed. They took about an hour to start and almost another 2 hours to change them. I didnt leave till 945. When I went into the office to pay, it was like three mechanics.And they're just laughing, not doing anything 😑. Plus I had a spare and I needed a new tire. They couldnt even remove the chocks either. They also left my chain hanging. My mechanic sucked Bruce is his name 2 hours to change 2 tires smh.

Came to Love’s Speedco shop here at Tolleson, AZ to fix a flat on a brand-new tire with only one week of use. The tire had a cut on the tread (not the sidewall), which I know for sure is fixable. However, the managers (Carlos and Robert) kept insisting it wasn’t. Since I was in a rush, I didn’t want to argue. I asked them for the price of a new tire and installation so I could get back on the road. The price they gave me was ridiculous, so I politely asked them to put my tire back so I could leave. At that point, they got upset and refused, saying it wasn’t legal, that it was too much liability, and that they “never do such a thing.” Meanwhile, both managers were extremely rude and arguing nonstop with every customer in person and on the phone. I told them their price was too high and mentioned that the shop just a mile down the road quoted me 40% less for the exact same tire. I even sent the other shop a photo of the damage, and they confirmed the tire was 100% patchable with no risk. Finally, I offered to pay just to have my tire reinstalled so I could leave. Carlos immediately said he’d do it for $160. With no other choice, I had to agree. (Then later, Robert again asked me how much I was quoted to have the flat tire put back on—while Carlos sat quietly next to him. When I said $160, Robert got upset and kept repeating: “That’s not how much it is, but I’ll take care of you.” Apparently it was $55.64 but somehow Carlos decided saying $160 is a better number) Even then, I’ve been waiting over an hour just for them to put my tire—or at least the rim—back on so I could literally drive one mile down the street to get it fixed. On top of that, I had to repeat myself constantly, answering the same questions separately to Robert and Carlos while they sat right next to each other. Honestly, it felt like a joke. Huge mistake on my part for trusting a “big” shop like this one, especially since I’ve been a loyal Love’s customer for over 10 years—buying their coffee, snacks, gas, and diesel on the road. I never argued with them or tried to correct them, because from the way they acted it was clear they didn’t care one bit about customer service. It’s very sad that these business know the customers are in need of help and that the would have to come back no matter how they are treated and such people or business take advantage of the desperate situation of customers. Very disappointing experience, and I hope others think twice before trusting this shop.
