He diagnosed a difficult electrical issue that MULTIPLE shops could not figure out. Instead of throwing parts at the car, Vlad properly diagnosed the problem, found the real cause, and fixed it right. Communication is excellent, pricing is fair, and the work is always clean and professional. Genuinely cares about the cars he works on and treats them like his own. Vlad helps out with the Mercedes of Arizona Car Club and is truly trusted in the community. He knows cars inside and out, especially Mercedes, from classic models to modern AMG. He has also helped me track down rare parts that other shops said were unavailable or could no longer be sourced. We were referred to vladi by the Mercedes club for some needed repairs. We dropped our e55 amg off to him on Monday for transmission replacement, radiator and rear main seal replacement. He kept us in the loop constantly and let us know if anything else needed attention and what our options were. We were able to pick up the car on Wednesday ( 2 days later)! Very pleasant experience and reasonable pricing. We will definitely return for any other future repairs! Very knowledgeable and professional service provider. Highly recommend him! I consider myself an above average Mercedes DIY master tech w/ my own Star Diagnostic equipment. I do 90% of all maintenance and repairs to all my vehicles. So who do I trust 100% to do the work I can't due lack of skill or time? Vlad is the type of tech high end shops and dealerships wish they had on their team. Being a car guy himself he understands how stressful it can be when your baby is sick. He is extremely skillful in diagnosing any issues with any European vehicle. The best part is he is genuinely a very nice man who is kind and welcomes "collaborations" for solving issues you may have with your car. He is a one man operation so you will need an appointment. His rates are also very competitive with other Indie shops and much less than dealership's hourly rate for sure. Case in point, I have been struggling to get the AC system in my SL55 AMG for two years now. I found a service bulletin from Mercedes that points to a internally collapsing hose in the system. I bought 90% of all parts I needed to just do the job fix it this summer! After consulting with Vald of the possible causes, I decided to have him flush and recharge the system that has not been services for 20 years! He agreed and suspected my issue was not the possible collapsed hose. He was 100% correct. After a regular service he detected a minuscule leak in the system that STAR or myself could not find. Let's just say we were freezing our butts off on the way home! Blowing cold at 34F now and this "fix" will hold of a full teardown of the system with new parts for at least a couple of years. Great experience at VRV. Vlad took care of my AC recharge and fixed a coolant leak. Very welcoming and professional guy. Fast turnaround and kept me in the loop the whole time. Also very reasonable prices compared to anywhere else. Highly recommend!
