Non car girlie’s honest review at an honest repair shop: Went for the first time today. Phenomenal services. Dropped off my car at 7, and by 9:30 my drive belts had been replaced and I had a call to come pick up. Quick service, reasonable price. Did not try to upsell me and nickel and dime me for work. Quoted me for the future work I need done so I can start saving. Felt good to not leave feeling anxious like I need to call my dad to verify if they are lying to take advantage of my lack of car knowledge or not, which is a normal car repair experience for me. Overall great experience and am genuinely looking forward to not having to go to a big box company for my car repairs. See ya next time Tempe Auto Repair!

I can’t say enough good things about Tempe Auto Repair. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease. The team was not only professional, but also genuinely friendly and welcoming, something that’s hard to come by in the auto repair world. What really stood out to me was their honesty. They clearly explained what was going on with my car, gave me options without any pressure, and didn’t try to upsell unnecessary services. That kind of transparency builds real trust, and it’s exactly why I’ll be coming back. The pricing was extremely fair, especially considering the quality of the work and the level of service. After dealing with an unprofessional and untruthful (telling me something was done, when it actually wasn’t!) shop of a national chain, I asked a buddy who was born and raised in the valley and he didn’t hesitate to recommend Tempe Auto Repair. Have been taking my cars here for about 10 years and have never been dissatisfied. I can drop off my car without an appointment and the work gets done that day. If you have questions they go into as much detail as you want, to explain why your car may need certain repairs, and if it can wait for another 30K miles (for example) they let you know that. Honest, reliable, straightforward. And a tiny waiting room without frills. I actually appreciate that! Highly recommend! Support local businesses!
