After a few years and two out-of-service cars at another "full service" corporate shop (bad idea on my part), I was referred by a friend and took my vehicle to these folks. What stood out: Professional, friendly, honest and knowledgeable. They found the issue and told me it was an easy fix. They made life long customer! Topnotch service and real good people. Definitely will be going to them from here on out.

They took the time to explain what was going on and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. They even tried to save me money by repairing the brakes first instead of immediately replacing parts. In the end the rear brakes did need a new part, but I really appreciated their effort to keep the cost down. They also pointed out a few things that can wait, which showed real integrity. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can truly trust, and I feel like I found one. I will definitely be bringing my car back here in the future. 🚗

View on GoogleI cannot say enough about how elated and happy that I chose American Five Star Auto repair! They are indeed FIVE STAR! In search of repairing my 2016 Honda Fit so I could successfully pass emissions. I got really frustrated during my search because I had talked to at least five auto shops. They all just kinda did not give me a firm yes or no based on what I needed to be done to my car. However, when I went to American Five Star Auto Repair. I was happily greeted by Kat and Allen. I explained my situation to them. Kat understood exactly what I needed which made me feel confident that they could get the job done. I’ll add that they were not suggesting I get things done that weren’t necessarily emissions related. They used a common sense approach which is really why I gave them my business. I dropped off my car late afternoon then I picked it up the next day early afternoon. YES! I passed the emissions! Check engine light is off! So again I cannot thank Kat and Allen so much for their 100% total professionalism, knowledge, and superb customer service! Thank you again American Five Star Auto Repair!

I have been going back since 2024 everytime I need an oil change and as a young woman it’s a little difficult to find a place that doesn’t try to take advantage of you or that doesn’t disregard what you have to say. American 5 Star is always respectful and kind. You can tell they have a value based business!
