Mad Hatter Mufflers and Brakes is the gem mechanic that everyone wants but can’t find. He I feel is thorough in the process of figuring out what needs to be done on your vehicle. Don and his team of mechanics are quick and affordable. They will let you know exactly what needs to be done and then move on with the work if you approve it. He is much more affordable than the dealer. I found this shop because my 04 Tahoe needed a cat put on and when I found Mad Hatter muffler and brake shop I had to take a chance. I am so glad I did because the old Tahoe runs like a champ now. The work you guys did on my vehicle was superb it now sounds and runs super good which it never did. I really thought I was going to have to just throw it away and start over with somebody else’s problems. Do I recommend Mad Hatter Muffler and Brakes MOST DEFINITELY. I forgot to mention I was not even in state when I had it dropped off to these guys which was a bonus. For EXCELLENT WORK and GREAT PRICE go see Mad Hatter Muffler and Brakes they will not disappoint. UPDATE: I can honestly say that when you take a vehicle into Mad Hatter Muffler & Brakes you will leave with a new feeling and sounding vehicle with no lights on the dash coming on. The guys did an amazing job with the exhaust work HONESTY and QUALITY work was performed on my Tahoe and it was just amazingly done. The family and I left Arizona to go east and I have not had a problem with the Tahoe yet it runs GREAT. The quality of workMad Hatter Muffler & Brakes perform is not disappointment by any means what so ever. Amazing work and done by professionals and it ABSOLUTELY SHOWS!! Do not go here I took my 2014 ram in back in October of 2025 they charged me 400 for 3in pipe from header all the back to tail pipes that was with my mufflers I brought I went in with my 2026 Chevy and just wanted my muffler changed and tips swapped 500 bucks was quoted then they denied doing a big job like that for 400 just cause the truck is new they wanna up charge..very sad I try being a loyal customer and they want to play games
View on Google1998 Honda Civic EX Coupe (manual) Highly recommend this father/son shop, the crew's teamwork to bust out a custom cat-back exhaust was impressive. eBay exhaust died, so brought in Flowmaster resonator and muffler. They bent 2.5" aluminized steel piping to make a one piece exhaust after the catalytic converter. This is a lowered car, so they also tucked in/up the larger diameter resonator which was the lowest part of the new exhaust. Excellent work, caught some janky stuff upon inspection, addressed all minor issues, exhaust is 100% bulletproof, and sounds great!
