I was on a road trip with family when my battery died. I took it to get a new battery where it was tested and found out that along with a new battery, I would need a new alternator because mine wasn’t charging the battery anymore and needed to be replaced. I called around and when I got to Wilhelm Automotive I was immediately pleased with how well I was treated over the phone. When I explained my situation to Mike over the phone he told me to bring it in right away and they would get it changed out in a few hours so that we could continue on our trip back home. I immediately drove over and when I got there I was helped in person by Kent. I explained to him my situation and what my car needed and he took care of me right away. He got all the information needed and since I didn’t have any transportation back to our hotel room, he even arranged for an Uber ride for me. He called me pretty quickly to inform me that they did a diagnostic again just to make sure and confirm what was wrong and gave me a final price before beginning the work. A couple hrs later I received another call from Kent telling me my car was ready and he said he would have an Uber ready to pick me up from my hotel and bring me back to the shop. Before I left they informed me of the warranty policy and I joked and said, “well I might not be able to drive back to Phoenix if something happens again” (I live near Los Angeles) and they informed me of some local shops that they are affiliated with and they will honor the warranty there if need be. Overall I was extremely impressed with how well they treated me and my car! I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs repair in that area. As far as price goes, I’ve never had to go to a shop for a repair like this so I can’t compare, but as far as other quotes I received that day before deciding on Wilhelm Automotive, I would say they are fairly priced. Not sure of the other shops would’ve offered to get me an Uber ride to and from the shop though. Thank you Kent, Mike and everyone else at Wilhelm Automotive for helping to get us back home safely.

Wilhelm was recommended by family & friends for being super trustworthy…& they truly are! Easily could have “upsold” & charged us for extra labor more than once…but they even fixed something that ended up being relatively minor & charged us next to nothing! Everyone is always super friendly & they get everything done in a timely manner. Their fees are reasonable (& a little higher than we might pay elsewhere for certain things, but totally worth it). I’ve even been encouraged to use a coupon with a larger than expected bill. We’re clients for life!

Had my 2009 Nissan titan get some work done. Great customer service. Truck is running great.

Very surprised since most reviwes were positive here. I was given a cost breakdown of repairs needed, but the labor was doubled dipped on 3 of the 4 repairs. Some parts were marked up %300 from OEM. When I offered to purchase my own and have them install they declined. Lady at the front desk was not friendly or communicative, and did not offer any helpful information when I asked more detailed questions about my repair. $4K minor maintenance on an $11K car is pretty shocking.

I have driven past this business for years and now I wish I would have gone to them earlier! They are comprehensive which is hard to find these days. I needed an oil change on my Audi 6 and everything they said they would do, was done plus they filled my windshield wiper fluid. They are polite and professional and their prices were almost half of what the dealership was going to charge me. I will definitely go there again in the future. No more driving by.
