I Was treated very nice when I entered the shop. Angelina was very helpful since this was my first time into Christian Brothers. I was recommended by other family members and they too were very pleased. When picking up my car, I was showing pictures of what they had done and what I might have to have done on the next visit. I definitely would return to Christian Brothers.

Christian Brothers Automotive provided excellent service from start to finish. They were attentive, responsive, and truly treated my car issue with care. They took the time to diagnose and fix my AC system quickly and professionally, and I really appreciated their communication throughout the process. It is now mid March. It’s been over 2 months and I have yet to hear from the shop owner or manager. Now to report to BBB, State Bureau of Automotive Repair, and the NHTSA. I had a very disappointing experience with this automotive shop and would not recommend them. The labor rate is extremely high and parts are heavily marked up. I was originally told the repair would take approximately 6 hours, yet my vehicle was kept for 11 hours. After the repair was completed, I was shown the thermostat that had been removed and was told it was “broken” because it was not seated properly in one area. Wanting a second opinion, I later took both my vehicle and the removed thermostat to a trusted friend who owns an automotive shop in the West Valley. He examined the thermostat and explained that it could have been reseated and tested before selling me a replacement part. Regarding a large EVAP leak code, I was told I would need to bring the vehicle back and pay for additional diagnostics involving smoke testing to determine the source of the leak. However, during both the initial diagnostic inspection and the final inspection they claim to perform before releasing a vehicle, the shop failed to inspect underneath the car. When my friend inspected the undercarriage, he immediately noticed visible damage to the purge canister, which is a likely cause of the large leak code. At least three to four technicians worked on my vehicle, yet none of them checked under the vehicle. This lack of thoroughness raises serious concerns about both competency and safety. Because of this, I now question whether other services were performed properly. For example, I had an oil change completed, which requires access to the underside of the vehicle—making it even more concerning that obvious undercarriage damage was missed. Customer service was equally frustrating. I called requesting to speak with the manager and was told he was at a corporate lunch and would return my call. Two hours later, instead of receiving a call, I received a text message asking me to leave a review. I replied that I would not leave a review until I heard back from management. Only then did the manager leave a voicemail stating he might not be able to speak until Monday. I returned the call within 30 seconds, but was told he was on another call and unavailable. I requested a refund of the $174 diagnostic fee and the thermostat part due to the possibility it was unnecessary. I never received a return call from management. I have also been unable to locate corporate contact information. I will be reporting this experience to the BBB, the State Bureau of Automotive Repair, and the NHTSA. While this issue fortunately did not result in immediate danger, failure to inspect the undercarriage of a vehicle poses a potential safety risk and reflects a lack of thorough inspection as claimed by the shop. This shop is overpriced, performs incomplete diagnostics, and does not stand behind its work or customer concerns.

My rear brakes made a loud squeak and I felt certain the rear shoes and drums needed attention. I notified the service writer of the issue. I received an email and text with photos from the technician that clearly showed I had plenty of brake life left on all wheels. They told me to keep my money where it belongs. In my wallet. The technician took photos of my worn out control arm bushings and it was definitely time for that. Christian Bros saved me a lot of hard earned money and only did the repairs necessary. In my forty years of automotive ownership and the occasional repairs on them , it’s a breath of fresh air to be met with this kind of honesty in a world that tries very hard to empty my wallet. Professional work and great honest service.
