APEX Transmissions

I had my transmission rebuilt at your shop and had to return several times for issues that were supposed to be covered under warranty. My truck sat at your shop for months without proper resolution. The first time, the bearings were replaced. I asked Logan Eastlay why bearings needed to be replaced if the transmission had already been rebuilt, and he stated the bearings were “old.” I later returned again because the transmission fluid was leaking. My truck then sat at the shop for approximately two months. When I began calling for updates, Logan told me my warranty had expired but said he would still fix the issue. He then claimed my flywheel had damaged the transmission and stated the flywheel needed to be cut. I told him I was at work and would call him back to discuss the next steps. Despite that, he removed the transmission and cut the flywheel without my authorization. I never approved that work. When I went to the shop, I requested my transmission back. My son witnessed parts being removed and thrown into the trash. I ultimately had to tow my truck from your shop at my own expense, and I was also charged for services I did not authorize. In addition, my truck was returned covered in dust, and my newly installed upholstery had oil and dirt stains. I brought this to Logan’s attention, and he stated the interior could be cleaned. I provided my address for follow-up, but I never received any response. I also requested the missing center piece of the torque converter, and Logan stated he would “have to find it.” I still have not received the part. There is also oil spilled in the bed of my truck that needs to be cleaned. I have attempted to resolve these issues through calls and text messages but have received no response.

Absolutely the best car repair place ever!!!! I’ve had my trucks transmission rebuilt and front end suspension done and a few other minor repairs! They did a fantastic job! No problems. Logan is amazing and up front with costs. Mechanics and reception are nice and accommodating! Although I was kinda bummed that they were out of my fav flavor of popcorn to snack on! Highly recommend!! Thank you Apex for giving my Ford a second chance at life and saving me enough money to put gas in it to enjoy it when it was done!

Communication needs attention. Dropped off my truck for transmission rebuilt, was told a week turned into a month. Never would get a call from them, I had to reach out to check in on the progress. When i picked up the truck, as soon as I turned into my driveway, I hear a noise as if something was rubbing. Look under it and notice the lower strut brace is now bent hitting the tire from it not being installed correctly. I reached out and sent pictures in to them to get a replacement. They ordered it and said it would come in Monday. I just dont know which Monday since I haven't heard back from them, I've tried reaching out again. Other than those issues, the transmission seems to be shifting good.

This is a review I didn’t think I’d have to post I’m happy to have the experience to share with you guys. After finding out my transmission had failed on my 2019 F-150 at 90k miles (ikr!!) I started to do my research on where I could get this thing repaired and back on the road. First thing I found out was the repairs on a 10r80 trans were pretty complicated and you wanted to have a shop willing to walk you through the process. In the eleventh hour I found Apex and after speaking on the phone with Logan and him walking me through their rebuild process I felt very confident going with them for the work. They got me in a day early and were very upfront about the tedious process to get it rebuilt road tested and ready to go. I want to add they were also upfront about the timeline which I know can be a concern with all of us looking to get our vehicles back. In regards to pricing there also weren’t any hidden cost the estimate I received was the pricing I paid and they also went over all payment options in the event they were needed. All in all with a repair that can break a household and cause so much stress I can’t thank Logan and the team at Apex for making this as seamless as it could have possibly been. Thanks Guys!
