Had a really solid experience and wanted to give a shoutout to Dave. I came in with a check engine light after getting a code pulled somewhere else. Before going in, I checked out their website and it was actually super helpful. It explained their services and approach in a way that made it easy to decide to go with them, especially since I was pretty sure it was an EVAP issue. Getting scheduled was easy! Dave got back to me quickly and worked around a time that worked for both of us. When I brought the car in, he didn’t just run diagnostics and send me on my way. He took the time to show me what was going on, explain it in a way that made sense, and even emailed me all the codes and details so I had everything for reference. What I appreciated most was how he approached the diagnostic process. He explained that they use a more data-driven method to narrow things down instead of just guessing and throwing parts at the problem. It made the whole process feel a lot more efficient and trustworthy. They didn’t have the purge valve same day, but he got it in the next day and had it installed in like 15 minutes. Overall, great customer service. I never felt rushed or upsold. Pricing was reasonable, and I left feeling confident in the work and Dave’s expertise. Definitely recommend.

Dave did a great job replacing the engine on my 2001 GMC Yukon. Finding a place to do a motor swap that wasn't a shade tree mechanic or on overpriced shop is hard nowadays and I am happy to have found Apex.Dave did not do any unnecessary work and did a great job overall. I am very pleased.

Dave the mechanic is amazing! We brought our truck in from a botched job from some other mechanic and he spent a week diagnosing it, going back and forth with the dealership, finding the best prices and working with me the whole time. He is an amazing mechanic and once we figured out what was wrong he had it fixed within the day. Super friendly and definitely someone I would go back to if I needed any work done. I highly recommend Apex and here is why: My 2008 Jeep Wrangler with 170K miles engine was failing due to age and hard core use from adventuring off-road. My choices were to rebuild it or just go with a remanufactured engine. I chose the remanufactured route for various reasons. I researched many places in the Phoenix valley who do this work. Whoever I chose had to meet the sniff test when it came their commitment to quality and how they stand behind their work. Putting a new engine in is a big financial decision, but for me its also a safety issue since I spend a great amount of time in remote and harsh locations documenting off-road trails in the western US. In my search I found Apex. I called and spoke with the owner, Dave senior and was impressed. Before I made the final decision to work with Apex I wanted to meet with them and see their shop. Again, I was impressed with their knowledge, candor and transparency. Out of all the shops I spoke and met with, I got the best feeling of a 
“commitment to quality” from Apex. Post install: my Jeep seems more capable engine wise now then when I bought it with only 13K miles on it and I am looking forward to enjoying this motor for a very long time. Apex was a breeze to work with and the whole process was painless with no surprises at the end. I highly recommend Dave and his team to anyone and if you are a Jeep JK owner, these guys were well versed in our 3.8 liter which is an added bonus.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Never been happier in such a short amount of time with the service I received here. I brought in my 1992 GMC Typhoon to have the turbo and Evap to be looked at, and he did not hesitate to pull it around into the shop. He also educated me on exactly what needed to be done and did some minor tuneup for no charge. Was totally blown away with this service. Awesome guy and real quality service. Will recommend to anyone who I meet that needs an honest mechanic. I will be back. Thank you so much APEX automotive.
