I don’t usually write reviews, but Highland Auto absolutely deserves it. I’ve got a car with over 230,000 miles on it, so I’ve had a lot of work done over time. Every experience I’ve had here has been solid. They’ve helped me through major repairs like a full coolant system replacement and a head gasket job, which is a big one. Each time, they worked with me on pricing and payment options and gave me the best possible solution without trying to upsell or push unnecessary work. Jason, the owner, is hands down one of the most genuine people I’ve dealt with in this industry. He actually cares about doing right by his customers. He’s honest, straightforward, and not trying to nickel and dime you. One situation that really stood out was when my car needed to pass emissions and it looked like I’d need a new catalytic converter. Instead of jumping straight to an expensive fix, Jason took the time to properly assess the situation and find a better solution that saved me a lot of money. He even went out of his way to get my car through emissions without me asking. The team is friendly, the work is timely, and I’ve never had a bad experience here. If you’re looking for an honest shop that actually has your back, this is the place. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

Had a quote from another shop. The quote here was 1/3 of the price. Steve actually suggested getting a new car instead of trying to fix the money pit of a car I had. Honest staff, they did what was best for me instead of taking easy money. Highly recommend. Honest, fair mechanics are hard to find.

After dealing with a dealership service center and having so many issues/being taken advantage of, I stopped at Highland Auto for a second opinion. I wish I had come here to begin with. Everyone who works here is so kind and extremely helpful. Especially Steve, he helped me fix an issue the previous dealership caused and even took me back and showed me what parts were replaced and how they worked. As a woman, it's extremely frustrating trying to handle car issues, but Highland Auto made it so easy. I highly recommend!

I honestly dread going to the mechanic because it can feel like you’re getting taken advantage of but Highland Auto completely changed that for me. Jason, the owner, is honest, knowledgeable, and genuinely looks out for his customers. He looks for the best and least expensive route before recommending any higher-cost repairs, which we really appreciate. He’s helped us save a lot of money on our two older vehicles, and always explains what’s necessary without any pressure. Super grateful as we want to keep these vehicles running as long as possible. It’s clear he cares about keeping your car running well, not just making a quick buck. If you’re looking for a trustworthy mechanic, I highly recommend Highland Auto!

Three weeks for what was a three day transmission replacement. Leaking transmission fluid in days. Silicone where there should have been a gasket which was very visible. A broken connector that also was leaking and tried to be fixed with silicone. So all they tell me it’s not then and point to were they got the transmission, as Steve said call them. Let me add that they told me they always use a place in WA state then they told me at the end of the three weeks it was their first time using them. All the problems were found when I took to were my grand son works, I trust him way more than Highland
