Big O Tires

I absolutely need to share my experience from working with Eric Baca today at Big O Tires! First and foremost, it is never a good day when you need to take your car in for repairs and never knowing how much it’s going to cost but if you need to go somewhere, I highly recommend Eric and his incredible team! Eric is genuinely a great guy and knowledgeable in is craft! His team was unbelievably helpful in getting my car running smoothly and safely. They were very honest and helped find the best price possible for me. Again 10/10 service and I would highly recommend him and his team and Big O to anyone needing services done with their vehicle.

I called ahead to verify I could come in for an oil change and was told there would be no issue. Before arriving, I found a $49.99 coupon online for a 5qt full synthetic oil change. Once there, the representative informed me the coupon was not valid because my vehicle requires SW-30, which he described as a “higher grade” synthetic oil. The issue is that nowhere on the coupon were these exclusions or restrictions clearly disclosed, unlike many other oil change promotions that specifically outline vehicle or oil-type limitations. When I questioned it, I was told it varies nationwide depending on the location. For context, I manage a fleet of over 20 vehicles and am very familiar with oil specifications and maintenance pricing. What made this interaction especially frustrating was the tone and delivery. As a female customer who clearly understands vehicles and maintenance, the explanation felt dismissive and came across as an attempt to justify changing the advertised pricing after the fact rather than having a transparent conversation upfront. This type of experience is exactly why the auto industry continues to get a bad reputation with female clients. Transparency, consistency, and respect should not vary based on who is standing at the counter. What stood out most was the lack of concern when I decided to take my business elsewhere. There didn’t seem to be any interest in resolving the issue or retaining a customer relationship. Overall, the experience felt misleading and poorly handled. I would encourage the business to improve communication, clearly disclose all restrictions, and treat every customer with the same level of professionalism and respect.

Hector was amazing! We were driving on the highway when our tire suddenly lost air from what looked like a nail, and he took care of everything for us quickly and completely complimentary. The customer service here is truly top-tier. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The inside of the shop is super clean and comfortable, with water, snacks, coffee, and even popcorn available while you wait. It really made a stressful situation so much easier. Thank you to Hector and the whole team for turning a bad moment into a great experience. Highly recommend this location!

Needed to get oil change for my daughter’s car while she was at work & before I had to pick her up & get to the airport. Her car had 180,000 miles & had not received routine maintenance except for oil changes. I was surprised & delighted that Big O on Germann in Chandler could provide diagnostics & complete necessary repairs as well as do oil change, & replace oil & air filters. They furnished a complete estimate with videos explaining recommended repairs. Everything was done in about 4 hours. The waiting lounge was clean & comfortably furnished, equipped with water, coffee, popcorn & doughnuts. Gabe & the other tech whose name I have forgotten (unfortunately…but I’m old😳) were terrific. I highly recommend this Big O site for excellent customer service & comprehensive auto repair.

Brought our Honda in this past Saturday for 2 new tires. We had a ruined tire from recently running over a large bolt as well as another that had a slow leak. We were told it would be a few hours to get the tires done so we went next door to grab some breakfast. When we returned, they had the car on the lift and were swapping the 2 tires as agreed. The tech informed us that the other 2 tires had a date code of 2018 and were suffering from dry rot. They recommended replacing those as well along with an alignment. We told them to go ahead and do all 4 tires. While I appreciated their attentiveness to the condition of the tires, I cannot understand why they didn't inform us of the Buy 2, Get 2 promo up front. I knew the tires were older, but not almost 8 years old. Had they told us the promo would have applied to the tires we were purchasing, I would have told them to go ahead and do all 4 right away. The was a nice waiting area for us to sit while we waited for the car to be finished. Complimentary water and donuts as well as a television. The employees were friendly.
