Just had to remediate a grossly negligent battery installation on a 2018 BMW X1 xDrive performed by Autonation on Sat Oct 18 2025 from 8a to 1pm (as a reference) charged over $600, client's initials are B.M.. , Buckey Area, Ariz. Here is the report to client. "REPORT: Battery trim found incorrectly assembled. Battery not properly seated and slanted. Battery vent hose disconnected and not seated. Battery wrong size and likely wrong capacity. Battery bracket is an inch away from battery lip, will not secure battery. POS batt terminal found completely unsecured. Battery cowling trim damaged, broken at the far left tap, clip and panel remant still attached to vehicle. All push clips missing. Overall impression: Breach of duty of care; Negligent work.” I hope Autonation will look further into this, I was shocked to hear that this was a national brand, perhaps associated with Autonation, built from the ground up by Wayne Huizenga? Wayne if you're reading this, please reach me. I can help build out a quality assurance program to make sure that your techs are qualified and competent to do work on BMW. Autonation Mobile you can do better. Sending my client with this report to enforce warranty. If you guys don't make this right, I will encourage him to file a complaint. Not the BBB type, the type that gets your attention. This type of negligent work gives all mobile technicians a bad name. A note to PR. No need to respond. If and when you make client B.M. whole, I will update this review. In the meantime, I had to remediate your negligent work without compensation because I simply felt sympathetic for my client grossly overpaying for a botched install. I assume that gives me the right to leave this review since I am the tech that had to clean up your mess to no avail.

View on GoogleThe service tech was nice. But I paid $200 for a diagnosis. The tech could not tell me what was wrong. He called another guy out, couldn’t figure it out. Still cost me $200 and said it might be the starter. Didn’t offer to fix or even quote us. Said he doesn’t really know and that was his guess. Worst $200 ever spent.
