Dropped my sequoia off transmission was a total loss. They not only got it done but assured the vehicle was in optimal condition when leaving. Overall great experience. Fair on price and timely service with knowledgeable technicians. Not much else you can say or ask for from a shop

I was Really nervous about moving to a new town and not knowing what company truthful. And when I came to trail in apatchi junction I just got a really good feeling about them, they did an incredible job. Their quote was spot on the work was amazing after I picked up my truck, I sat on the parking lot with what with I thought was one of the customers for a 1/2 an hour talking to this gentleman just about life and turned out he was the owner. Shows you how down-to-earth. They are, he said he's been there for over 30 years. That speaks for itself right there.Best company i've been to

The challenge..do I buy a new Suburban 1500 for 70k, or do I drop some coin into my 2005 Suburban with 320,000 miles? My transmission failed so I called Trail Transmission. They made my decision easy. I was given a quote over the phone within minutes of calling. No upselling. They knew all about my transmission and said it would take about 10 days to get it fixed. I had it towed to their garage that day. They rebuilt my transmission and delivered it on time and on budget. Car runs smooth as silk. I did some research on them before I took it in. They are a family owned and operated business who have been operating in Apache Junction for many years and they had many 5 start reviews. Imagine that, a company that does what they say they are going to do. In this crazy day and age that means something! Here is how I knew they did good work...their shop was spotless, clean floor, orderly. They pay attention to details. Very happy with their service

You guys replace the t case in my 06 dermax , hoping to get another twenty years out of it great price

I was recommended this place by a mechanic shop i had called and it has to be the biggest regret of a purchase I have ever made. Had to get it warrantied 4 times. took 3x times longer for them to do it then I was quoted. Didn't at all keep me informed during the process. had to call multiple times for updates due to this. day 1 of receiving it back they incorrectly installed the gear shift lever attachment on the transmission causing my car to slam into reverse and not turn on reverse lights. I ended up fixing this myself because it is so simple I don't understand how this gets overlooked. 3rd gear clutch had code in traffic saying improper ratio. tried to claim i was out of warranty and they would have to replace valve body for $900. thankfully i have a scan tool and the foresight to take a picture with code on car and mileage showing it happened within warranty period. After fighting back and forth they finally cover it. when they call me to pick it up i ask what they did to fix it and now its the 3rd clutches were burned up and had to be replaced? They either lied about needing to do a valve body or made a mistake on diagnoses again. Overall I brought it in for no TCC engagement and now 25,000 miles later my tcc is not working again! Called them and they said they would probably be able to help me out but i would still need to pay. Full rebuild cost me $3200 for my 2011 transit connect. They quoted me $2500 for just a torque converter replacement. So your telling me a full transmission rebuild is only $700 more than a torque converter replacement. I work on cars and this is down right shade tree quality. In what world does a transmission die before 30k miles and is considered a successful good quality rebuild. Most extreme transmission oil change intervals are 30k didn't even make it to the first fluid change. Transmission leaked before rebuild and after rebuild because they didn't want to replace a $30 pan. If you are currently contemplating going with a rebuild I highly recommend going to a different shop or just paying more and installing a new transmission with a 3 year warranty. Maybe its just bad luck on my end because they seems to have really good reviews but the best business make things right when the screw up this bad and I don't feel like Trail did.
