Think twice before using Pacific Tire Shop Tacoma!! I brought in a set of brand-new tires to have them installed. 1 week later, while driving on the freeway, my car started handling so badly that I thought I had a flat tire. I pulled over multiple times to inspect all four tires and couldn't find anything wrong, but the problem kept getting worse. I finally pulled over & called AAA. When the technician removed my hubcap, he found that three lug nuts were barely hanging on and were practically falling off. The lug nuts had clearly not been properly tightened during the tire installation. This was a major safety hazard. Had I not paid attention to how my car was driving and pulled over when I did, I could have lost a wheel at freeway speeds and seriously injured or killed myself or someone else. There is no excuse for this kind of negligence. Installing tires correctly and ensuring lug nuts are properly torqued is one of the most basic responsibilities of a tire shop. Thankfully the situation didn't end in a tragedy!!

Had a tire issue and came here because it was nearby. The staff got me taken care of fairly quickly, and the pricing seemed reasonable compared to some other shops I looked at. The service was fine, although there was a little confusion about the wait time. My tire problem was fixed without any issues, and everything has been running smoothly since. Nothing fancy, but it was a decent experience when I needed help on short notice.
View on GoogleIt’s Sunday Father’s Day and pretty much all the places are close til Monday. I found a big nail on my tire when I was at work grave yard shift. I was 20 miles away and looked on line and this place was close to home. Since my sensor in my truck is showing no leaks, decided to stop by here on my way home and have them looked at it. Thank god it’s not deep in my 20 inch Nitto Terra grappler tire. It’s was on the thread. The guy pulled it out prayed soapy water for leaks and thankfully there’s no leaks and off I go!! So thankful they were willing to help. The two gentlemen was honest and helpful. I will definitely come here next time.
View on GoogleI had a leak I had been putting off with Fix a Flat but the cold temps made me walk out of work to a flat tire. I have an AWD so that means time to replace all 4. I called around and kept getting 600+ everywhere, even my usual used tire spot. A family member suggested this place and they quoted me an amazing price for 4 used tires plus installation for FAR less! They even had a great price for 4 new tires but I just don't have the extra cash after the holidays. They saved me and I'm so appreciative!
