I've been a customer the last 3 years (originally at their Midland location, now at the South Tacoma one), and everyone has been fantastic! In the past I've worked with Sergei, Alex, and Nikita, and they are all kind and honest folks. They'll give you an honest take on the health of your vehicle, and while of course car maintenance/fixing is expensive, I'd say their prices are reasonable. As a returning customer they've squeezed me in when I really needed it, and have done great upkeep and service on my cars. Thanks Midland of South Tacoma!

I’m very satisfied with the overall service here. Great calm, friendly, communication from the start. Fast diagnostic and I love the link they send to explain it all. They were not trying to upsell or overcharge as far as I could tell and the repair will be done very timely with a pick up tomorrow. I’m very satisfied thus far and expect to take me and my sons car here whenever needed going forward.

I've had great experiences at this location and their second location. Nikita at South Tacoma was super helpful, straightforward, accommodating, and professional when I came in to get my car evaluated. He even helped me get windshield wipers when the universal ones didn't work for my vehicle! He went out in the rain to install them himself! I watched him work with customers and other professionals while waiting for my vehicle and he really applies himself while going above and beyond expectations! He is an amazing representation of how ethical and professional Midland is. Definitely a valuable asset to keep around and a friendly face when you're going through issues with your vehicle. Great experience now makes me a life time customer 100% Thank you Midland!

My old sedan has been with me for almost 12 years, so I’m always nervous leaving it anywhere. Here though, the mechanic actually explained things in plain language instead of technical jargon. It was a cooling issue, radiator hose leak. They showed me the cracked part and even suggested a cheaper aftermarket option instead of OEM. That honesty stood out. It took overnight repair and I picked it up next morning running smooth again. Small shop vibe but very organized and no pressure for extra work.

Don't go here, I went back in January, finally got time to look into there work. I did a valve adjustment on the vehicle, car didn't start, so I took it here. They said, they did a valve adjustment and replaced a ground connector which I believe. However they did not replace the valve cover gasket or seals and still charged me for it. On top of that all of the valve cover nuts where way over-specced. Plus one of the studs for the valve cover was cross-threaded, and I'll likely have to replace the stud itself because of it. They also went over-time on the diagnostics by two hours, three total.
