Bucky's Complete Auto Repair

The team was really wonderful! Their assessment was fair and they did a really great job explaining everything to me in a way I could understand (given I have very little car knowledge). Reid was So kind and even brought out water to my kids while they waited in the heat. My parents have trusted this location and referred me, and I'll defiantly refer others! I live over an hour away, so it was really wonderful to get such great and quick service while I was a little stranded in the area :) 10/10!

I can't thank this crew enough especially Reid at the desk. Okay so I made the first mistake of going to Meineke to get my power steering pump replaced as it was making noise. They replaced it, told me I had no power steering and the sound persisted for some reason. I then brought it to Bucky's where they told me it's the pump for sure, take it back and get it warranteed out. I did that at Meineke. The sound continued. They then told me it was the rack and pinion pushing air into the pump causing cavitation. Makes sense. So I brought it here to Bucky's and had the rack and pinion replaced and installed. The sound continued. The rack needed replaced anyway due to wear and tear and the mileage. The outer tie rods were shot as well. So no wasted money here. So Reid told me take it back, they need to warranty out the pump and get a better one, at least track down the sound. After the last visit and two days in the shop, Meineke solved the issue. It was the pump and related pieces. To say the least, I was very frustrated, it took Meineke three separate visits, missed work, and not mentioning, condescending tone and such from most of the Meineke crew. I came to Bucky's beat down from spending so much money chasing an issue and dealing with workers whom treat people like trash when they present a problem and they actually have to work at finding a solution. Reid calmed the situation each time, reassured me the issues will be taken care of. The transparency at Bucky's was wonderful! They tell it to you straight, with no filler, and all the costs up front. Despite this being an expensive adventure, at the end of the day, It felt good to know I'm using my money at a LOCAL shop, where the employees ACTUALLY care about their jobs, they care about their customers, their ethic and pride shines and it shows in their work. Again, I can't thank Reid and the crew enough. The same amount of money could have been spent elsewhere but would not feel the same. They know how to treat customers. Get your work done at Bucky's on 6th, you won't regret it. I've now had the pump diagnosed, the rack and pinion replaced as well as an oil change and AC system recharged. I refuse to go anywhere else.

Reid provided great service for my car brakes today. He went above and beyond to accurately diagnose my car, honor discounts, and even sent Kevin to pick me up from home when it was ready. Honest, professional, and excellent communication throughout. Highly recommend

Trustworthy and transparent mechanics are hard to come by! Reid and his team have been nothing but phenomenal. After a cross country move, my vehicle began experiencing problems in the cold weather and an engine leak turned into an engine replacement. Although it sounded sketchy at first (because how does a minor oil leak turn into a blown engine), Reid took me in, physically showed me the issues and quoted me on the repair. I decided to get a second quote from a dealership and they quoted me more than double what Bucky’s did. During the repair process there was a lot of frustration, doubts, and second thoughts such as “The engine was running fine before I brought it in. Are these guys trustworthy. Did they break my engine when fixing the leak?” Reid and his team went out of their way to address my doubts and built trust. They physically showed me the parts and the issues as they pulled the engine apart. He acknowledged all my frustrations and made sure I understood everything was happening with my vehicle instead of blowing me off. If you are in need of a trustworthy team of mechanics then you need to meet these guys. Car issues can be stressful but the situation will be much better when you know that there are good dudes who not only there to fix your car, but, are going out of their way to help you out.

We've been using Buckys for years and have always gotten fast and reliable service for all our vehicles. We appreciate the extra inspections done along with the work needed. Very good attention to details by their entire crew.
