Auto Correct LLC is a breath of fresh air. After a bad experience with another local shop charging me for services they didn't perform, I was skeptical, BUT they completely won me over. Scheduling was a breeze, and they are one of the few quality shops in Tacoma open on weekends, which is a lifesaver for those of us with M-F jobs. From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. Toni was incredibly pleasant and even offered me Cutie oranges while I waited. Brandon stopped by to chat, and it felt like catching up with an old friend, instead of just sitting in a mechanic's lobby. Most importantly: they are honest. Unlike shops that push unnecessary upsells, they only mentioned a minor part I already knew was on its way out. Absolutely no pressure, just transparency. They clearly prioritize people over profit and love what they do and care about their clients' best interests. Tip: Google Maps can be a little vague. Turn into the lot from Washington St; once you’re there, the entrance is clearly marked. They have a comfortable lobby with a TV, but the staff is so engaging you probably won’t even need it. If you want a shop, you can actually trust, go here. Supporting this local business is a no-brainer. If they’ll have me, I think I have found my local shop!

I don’t recommend going to fix your vehicle in here, I had an Ac issue took my car to them they checked the Ac compressor and all the compartment they told me there’s nothing wrong with compressor and only needs a Freon refill which doesn’t make sense there must be a leak somewhere? Anyways they refilled my Freon and after couple weeks the Ac stopped working again! Took the car back to get diagnosed again then the Tech Brandon told me that I need to replace the Ac compressor and condenser with some other valves and Quoted me for 6500$!! I decided to not fix my car there and took it to another shop and had it diagnosed again and the issue was in the Ac pressure sensor, I replaced it my self and refilled Freon as well now it’s working just fine.

5 Star mechanic shop! That’s all I can say. Brandon & his team replaced PCV valves & hoses which wasn’t an easy job. Got my 🚙 up & running efficiently. Excellent customer service he & his wife Toni. They’ll definitely be my mechanic 👨‍🔧 for whatever work my or my fiancée 🚙 needs from here on out…

In 2025, Toni and Brandon are the stuff "old school" mechanic dreams are made of: honest, reliable, friendly and fair. I had to actually pinch myself to see if I was dreaming. I could instantly see that Brandon is doing what he truly loves, and Toni's extensive professional background in administration makes these two an incredible dynamic duo that offer trusted, sound and expert work on my vehicle. I've brought two different cars to Auto Correct recently and was grateful both times for their expertise and straight-forward communication. One was for a 120k service on a Ford Focus and the other for brake repair on a Chevy Sonic. In both instances, I drove away with a vehicle that ran (and stopped!) sooooo much better than when I dropped it off. These guys can seriously fix your car. Brandon details clearly what is needed and why - and considering the marked improvements post-service, his recommendations and solutions are solid. Toni in the front office makes sure you feel at home while there and will provide any additional info such as ETA's and progress updates when you need them. A last note - it was very telling the first time I was there and I overheard the guys in the shop talking about another customer's car. Their candid conversation made it obvious that they care about both the driver and the car as they were determining best options. Bring your auto to them. These folks are top-notch.
