Car Smart Auto Service

I have been a customer with car smart auto service and they have serviced both my Honda Pilot and Mercedes E-Class 350. On April 14th, I brought my Mercedes in for its 60,000-mile service, which included spark plug replacement and brake fluid exchange. During this service, I was informed of a coolant leak requiring replacement, which I authorized. Upon returning home, my vehicle displayed a "heat up" warning on the windshield, and the radiator fan was operating at an unusually high volume. I subsequently returned the car to the shop for further inspection. The mechanic diagnosed a blocked radiator requiring replacement, which incurred an additional cost of $1500, bringing the total to $3,535.70. When I inquired about the overheating issue, I was informed that air bubbles were present in the system. I question why this issue was not addressed when the coolant tank was replaced, particularly given the expertise expected from a Mercedes service provider. Had this been handled correctly, I believe these additional radiator replacement costs could have been avoided. Today, April 23rd, my vehicle continues to exhibit excessive noise, resembling that of an aircraft. I request an apology and a refund for the incurred expenses. Earning money is challenging, and I expect a resolution to this matter. I don't now how they are lied to the customer? Your car is ready.on April 24th my car heatup middle on freeway 167 I have to stop 5 time to cool down my vehicle. Now my car seat in some parking lot unsafe that's all you guys fult. I have to call my brother to pick me up from parking lot 2:00am in the morning Very very bad 👎 👎 experience I telling all citizens of Washington state don't take Mercedes-Benz to car smart auto service. they don't fix vehicle they charge you money to break your vehicle.

I've had very good, honest experiences with this family-owned shop. They're very knowledgeable and seem to care about their customers. I've never felt scammed here. This place has always been fair and through with me. They are very professional and polite. They are always willing to take their time to answer questions and explain things clearly to me about what needs to be done and never pressure me to get stuff done I don't need or don't need at that time. They are very good at telling me what needs to be done now and what can be put off. They have always been fair to me when I come in and I really enjoy the staff member Joey. He remembers me whenever I come in and any past issues I may have had. I highly recommend this place to get your car fixed.

So I took my 09 camery in for the 99 dollar fall special, oil change, wipers, anti freeze flush, inspection. Great deal but it was closer to 150 bucks due to the fluid disposal, they should say that on the flyer. Still not a bad deal. The biggest reason why I am posting this review is, if you need brakes, DO NOT take your car here. I knew that I was going to need brakes soon, and they gave me a quote. Keep in mind that I am a senior citizen on a fixed income, another reason I am writing this review. They wanted 1587.64 bucks for both front and rear brakes, alot of that was new rotors because they don't have the capability to resurface rotors, so they toss perfectly good rotors. Not a full service shop. Took it to Toyota of Puyallup and paid 826.23 bucks for front and rear brakes, and that's with a loaner car. They resurfaced my rotors. About half price. Then there's the battery. They wanted 131 bucks just in labor to replace it. The battery was 232.51 and 14.32 for battery pads. That's 414.00 bucks for a new battery. Went to a parts house and paid 220 bucks for a really good battery, free installation that took 10 minutes to install. So let's do the math. 131 bucks for 10 minutes of labor. 131 × 6 (60 minutes in a hour) that's 786 bucks a hour. Too expensive for me. With all of the other items that they recommend, it totaled 6344.22 bucks for a 09 camery. The dealership didn't recommend these items. Look, all i am saying is buyer beware, look around and be smart with your money. I'm sure that i am going to get a long winded response from the manager Mike, but it is what it is , the numbers don't lie. Update: so when they did the oil change, they forgot to reset the system so my maintenance light came on. Had to take my car back in for that. ???? What a waste of time.
