They forgot a bolt when they aligned my truck and this eventually happened. Thankfully it failed when I was close to home. The shop I took it to said someone forgot to put the bolt back on when it was aligned last. Now I'm stuck with a $600 bill for front end work due to their mistake. They have not contacted me to make it right, nor have they responded to my better business bureau complaint, so clearly they don't stand behind their work. I'd recommend staying away. Update: Eventually they did respond, since it was over 12 months since they forgot the bolt they declined to pay for it and BBB did not make them. Congratulations to Five Mile Auto on not making things right. Super unethical owner of this shop, who also owns a body shop (Flash's Auto Body) - I'd recommend staying away from both. The owner is notorious in Spokane for insanely high turnover because of how poorly he treats his employees. Any current employees, I hope you run before he turns on you like he does everyone else. Customers, be warned this shop does not stand behind their work. Update 5/7/25 - five mile, the gift that keeps giving. My tires were bent from the unbolted adjuster sleeve so I had to replace my rims as well.

Darin was helpful, professional, transparent about prices and was able to get us an appointment to get our car fixed the next day. He recommended that we drop the car off in the morning so they could be sure to have room for our car so it wouldn't be left out in the parking lot over night. The car was fixed quickly & they gave us an explanation of what they fixed. The price was very reasonable and their transparency, helpfulness, and skill were refreshing. We had an excellent experience from start to finish. I highly recommend. They are a AAA approved mechanic as well.
