Clarks has always been good to us. They charge fair prices, they aren't too annoyed when you bring them older cars 😂, and they are incredibly friendly. The one issue we had wasn't even an issue with them. They referred us to an in town electrical place who did some shady business with our car. Not Clarks fault though. Also, this is great place for an oil change. The folks they have doing the oil change are actually good at their jobs unlike the stop and change places .

Don't trust them, they shirk basic checks, and they don't call for update to work after you approve the initial work. I called for an update Monday, then for an update on Tuesday as well. They called my wife on Tuesday to give us a quote for $1100, and she approved the $1100. I called on Thursday for an update and they said the car was ready. I then called in to pay the $1100 over the phone because we weren't going to get there before they closed. It was at 5:30 that they dropped the information that it was a $1538.88 bill. Wife and I asked why the price jumped $438, who approved it, and they said that she had approved it. After her telling them that the last thing we had on the topic was the approval of $1100, they changed their story to say that I had approved the extra update. I did not. They also claimed to have checked the tire pressure and found all four tires at 35psi exactly. When my wife got home with the car I noticed that one tire was low. One tire was at 25psi, while the others ranged between 36-38psi.

Went to change two tires , Steven (manager) told me that it will take him two days to change my tires . Took a whole week and still didn’t do what he promised. On top he was mad . Told me to go some where else. I been going there for a years , manager before was so effective and I really like the crew there . Tire Clark is not the same . Manager so rude .

Zero stars if I could. We’ve been taking our cars to Clark’s Tire & Automotive North for years and after this experience we will never go back. We paid for AC and thermostat work. The AC works now, but the car came back with new issues. The blowers now work inconsistently and the airflow constantly changes. This was not happening before the repair, but they swear they “didn’t touch it” and say it must have broken after. We brought the car back under their “warranty” and had an 8 AM appointment with the owner. My husband showed up early. The owner, who was supposed to be there at 8, didn’t show until after 9. When he arrived, he looked inside the car for maybe two seconds just to see that the fan wasn’t working properly. Instead of diagnosing the issue or taking responsibility, he immediately got rude and confrontational. He said “I don’t care if you record me when I say this… you’re acting like a Democrat.” For the record, we’re actually conservative, not that politics should matter, but using someone’s political label as an insult toward a paying customer is childish, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. After being loyal customers for years, we were treated with excuses, attitude, and political insults. They advertise that they guarantee their work, but they absolutely do not stand behind anything they do. We spent a lot of money only to be talked down to and left with new problems. And I’ll wait for your insult of a comment back to this to pop up because that seems to be how you operate instead of treating customers with respect. Save yourself the headache and money. Go literally anywhere else.

I AM ANNOYED with these guys. I am 39 weeks pregnant and my husband went in to talk to them Friday about some AC work and made it VERY clear that we cannot leave the car overnight. They said - no problem, bring it in Saturday morning and it'll be done by the afternoon. Brought it in Saturday and they said "yeah we're really busy but we'll try to get it done this weekend" to which he said no, we can't leave it overnight, so they said "Well bring it in Monday, we're less busy Monday." So we did that and WHAT DO YOU KNOW, they had to keep it overnight until Tuesday morning. Just so so annoying. Be honest and say if you can't get work done in a certain time frame. Causing undue stress on a very pregnant lady lol.
